It was such a dissapointment, trying to visit your shop. It was my daughter's 14th birthday, and all she wanted for her birthday, was to visit a thriftstore to add to her collections of LP's We do not live in SW so I googled a few places, and we decided on your shop as it looked the most pleasurable to visit... what a joke. We brased the cape storm as a family and left for the outing. It was raining cats and dogs, but for a child who's only wish for her 14th bday, was to visit a thrift shop... your thrift shop, we were happy to take the drive for her. We walked a full block (parking space were limited), in the rain, Me with 4 of my children trailing behind as we marched through the torrents of rain. Only to be met with a very sarcastic, "we close at 2pm on weekends,"... and just like that, we were turned away at the door... Ok so 1, weekends in my head, are Saturdays and Sundays, not Fridays... 2, Your Google search showed your working hours are until 4pm on Fridays, I actially have a screenshot of it. 3. You could at least have been more friendly when whisking us away like a merry-go-round in the front door, sending us right back out in that westher without so much as a blink. I just want to tell you, we did not need your unwelcoming establishment for her to have a good birthday. We managed to turn her dissapointment around and gave her a fabulous day, regardless of how badly we were treated as we were ushered out of the shop again. No sorry, for such bad service, I would never suggest someone to visit your store, as I myself will also never sit a foot there again. Thank for almost spoiling a childs birthday, but thank you for at least chasing us away before we could even get a breath of air before facing the buckets of water outside. And for the open eyed lying to our faces about your closing times. I guess your business is thriving so well, you did not need our few cents we were about to spend there. Thank you, but no thank you. Bad service kills a business.. I dont know who the lady behind the counter was, but I would revise my staff's people skills if this was my business. Rude, obnoxious and a lyer, definitely someone I would want as my front of house...
There are not enough words to describe this quaint little nook in the heart of the Overberg. With it's earthy feel, a gorgeous outside with fishponds and gorgeous plants, birds *****ing crumbs around your feet, or if you are more an inside type person, well then you are sorted too, especially on cooler days, with an inviting fire heating up cold bodies, and yummy food to fill the hunger pains from touring our gorgeous region. The staff is always friendly, the food fresh and the feeling vibrant. So next time you are in the Overberg, Kleinmond region, pop in and judge for yourselves. I LOVE this precious place.

Sy het op 'n gereelde basis vrot vleis aan kliente bedien en haar werknemers gedreig sou hulle iets sê. Daarby is sy so *****, sy trek julle, (die publiek,) se skuld van haar werknemers se weekloon af, wat julle net so skuldig soos sy maak omdat julle nie julle skuld betaal nie, dan moet iemand geheel en al ONSKULDIG, julle slegtigheid dra.. Daarby het sy GEEN van die wette wat betrekking het tot billike werkarbeidswette gehou nie. Haar werknemer moes ***** haar eie werks****rak "steel" en kopieë maak sodat sy dit op rekord kan hê wanneer ons die gemene vrou CCMA toe sleep. Dis onder andere ook op hierdie ****rak waar ons duidelik kon sien hoe sleg sy haar werknemers betaal het. Sy het een van hulle van die begin van haar tyd by kekkel, ten MINSTE R1200 per maand te min betaal, en dan nog julle skuld en 'n ou ekstra R100 afgetrek, "sodat daar geld weggesit kan word vir die werkgewer se kleindogter!!" Waar in jou lewe het jy al so iets gehoor. Alles het sy agter toe deure, onderdeur die tafel en ***** agter die skerms gedoen. Niks hiervan het ooit op skrif gegaan nie. Die enigste rede hoekom ons nou die vrymoedigheid het om daaroor te praat is omdat sy uiteindelik die winkel se deure gesluit het, en die werknemers sonder 'n heenkome gelos het. Hulle het geen kans gehad om voor te berei nie want die werkgewer het hulle letterlik tot Donderdagoggend nog aan 'n lyntjie gehou. Nog 'n rede hoekom ons nie voeër hieroor wou praat nie is om die werknemers te beskerm. Die werkgewer was 'n nagmerrie en het hulle verskree soos 'n siek lunatiek. Selfs voor kliënte, sou sy hulle (die werknemers,) sleg sé en verneder. Op 'n daaglikse basis, en ons het mense wat bereid is om vir ons hiervoor verklarings af te lê. Daarby het sy goed op haar rakke verkoop wat nie deur die franchise hoofde toegelaat is nie en sy het al voorheen 'n waarskuwing daaroor gekry, maar natuurlik gesien hulle volg nie op nie, en net voortgegaan met die misbruik van haar "mag". Sy het geen oortyd, af dae, siek verlof, niks van wat wettiglik van haar verplig word, nagekom nie. Daar was meer as een geval waar die een werknemer fisiese sieknotas van dokters af het om te sê sy lei aan werkstres, wat ook 'n ligte beroerte veroorsaak het, maar die werkgewer het haar steeds forseer om in te gaan werk toe om oop te sluit en die hoender te ontvang. Sy dink sy is absoluut untouchable. Die rede hoekom die werknemers daar aangebly het was omdat sy op haar ouderdom mag sukkel om weer werk te kry en sy moet werk want sy is 'n ma van 'n terminale siek kind. Die ander dametjie het aangebly ter ondersteuning van die eerste, want al was sy ook soos 'n dier behandel, was meeste van die werkgewer se haat, gerig op die tildame. So noudat sy besluit het om Kekkel en Kraai na haar ander winkel Emma's Takeaways, te skuif, voel ek dis my plig om julle, die publiek, te waarsku. Sy kry nie skaam om muf van brood af te haal, ou vleis te braai en dan daardie selfde broodjie, aan julle te verkoop nie. Sy het dit gereeld in Kekkel en Kraai gedoen, so wat laat julle dink sy gaan dit nie met julle in Emma's ook doen nie. Ons gaan defintief diè saak verder vat, maar hiermee wil ek die opregte eerlike inwoners van ons pragtige dorpie, waarsku teen die jakkals in ons midde.

I would highly recommend this amazing Vet and his awesome team, for anyone who needs a Vet with the heart of a bear! He is gentle, kind and works so well with not only our animals, but also us as per parents. He is diligent and kind, and his staff is just amazing too. They make you feel at ease in any situation, and he is also one of the very few vets I have ever dealt with that does not expect you to sell a kidney in order for him to help. In fact, I have only heard wholesome stories of him being I tender and kind in all type of situations, from vaccinations to putting pets to rest, all done with grace and compassion as the vets of old, as we remember them in the good old days. I would highly recommend his and his team's services to ANYONE who is looking for affordable but heartfelt vetcare. Thank you for being just what we needed here in our tiny village. I salute you, and hope you many years of amazing new clients as you grow and keep caring for our furry friends.
I have had the utter privilege to have this company come up on my Facebook feeds. And boy was I delighted! I have a serious sweet tooth, and could not help myself ordering a few different options from their product range, and boy, I was not dissapointed. The fudge is melt in your mouth delishous and the pricing extremely affordable. You get every cent's worth of mouthwatering fudge, from peppermint crisp, to nougat and everything inbetween. Admittedly my favourite is the Mother'sday heart fudge, which is covered in milk chocolate and sprinkles! Yum. But as if the fudge itself is not enough to tempt ANY serious sweets *****, this company has literally thought of everything. From the packaging, to the most friendly persons working hard to handmake these lovely treats, all of it is not only a feast for the eyes, but your tastebuds will love you too. I would highly recommend this company for all your fudgy needs. (I think I am addicted, as this month's order, which was a large one, meant to last me a month, was finished today! 😱😭. And payday is still so FAR. Do not believe me, please try them out for yourselves. Love the Fudge Fairy! 🧚🏿♀️
So here we are yet again... After my initial complaint about the non service we received from your company regarding a trampoline we bought from Macro online, in April, and the extremely bad quality of that product (breaking springs within 3 weeks of purchase and frame tearing etc,), then the back and forth and you guys only offering us 5 new springs after we told you we have springs breaking daily, you guys at last got with the programme and replaced the entire trampoline. That happened on 23 June 2023, way after it was first reported. Happy to have been helped we had high hopes... Which did not last long! The new trampoline frame started tearing within a week and springs started breaking almost immediately afterwards. So, we immediately started to try and report it, to Bounce King, from whom we have NOT YET HAD ONE SINGLE REPORT, AND NEITHER FROM MACRO!!! We had phoned, emailed, requested call backs, everything and as I am sitting here typing, NOT ONE single person has tried to reach out to us. We are talking 2 trampolines broken to the point of them being unsafe, in JUST LESS THAN 4 MONTHS!!! I reiterate my previous rating, we had to borrow money to be able to buy this trampoline. It is ONLY MY 12 YEAR OLD daughter using it... We have had to use old springs, given to us just in order to keep the poor child jumping. I can not express my EXTREME DISSAPOINTMENT, not only in Macro, who still seemed to want to help the first time round, but your absolute silence since the second one started falling apart, it very disheartening. Even if you guys do now suddenly decide to pop up for help, the bitterness of this situation, will surely leave a very bad taste for a LONG time to come... The DISSAPOINTMENT and regret is torture. I expected more from a massive company like Macro. NO we do not want a replacement!!!!! After all is said and done, we will ONLY be satisfied, no, we EXPECT to be refunded.
Following is the same review I gave your supplier Macro, as they are just as useless when it comes to customer service, even after a nice start in the beginning of this frame, but then that too fizzled into nothingness after second attempts to get ANY RESPONVE FROM EITHER YOU, the manufacturer, Bounce King, and them, Macro, as your the suppliers of your product. 2 Broken trampolines in 4 months. NUMEROUS attempts to get hold of either of your companies for help, to NO AVAIL! There is one massive paper trail from our side on how badly we tried and failed to get a hold of support and this is absolutely disgusting. Since we have taken photos of every phase of the deterioration of the trampolines, happening in such scarily short times one after another, I would HATE other people having to deal with the loss of finances, (we are still paying off on the debt we incurred to buy this product,) but also I hope by writing this people will realise what absolute useless companies both are, and hopefully NEVER support you. As I am writing this Inam dismayed and disgusted and stunned by your lack of silence and the fact that NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE person tried to follow up on this. We have tried on so many levels to get hold of either companies, emails, phonecalls, hello Peter reviews... EVERYTHING, and yet, you have gone silent like the grave... Guilty perhaps? FAIR WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY: Do NOT buy from this company EVER UNLESS you are in it to LOOSE! We bought a replacement trampolene from TROJAN (GOOD COMPANY, NOT ON REVIEW HERE), for the one we had for more than 4 years. It's springs started rusting etc, and our kids are growing up, so we thought to uprade. 14 April bought a 12 foot bounce king from Macro. 1 week old and it started breaking springs... we contacted macro immediately with our concern. They took their sweet time and by the time they "agreed" to send us "5" new springs even though the trampo has a year guarantee. This was 3 weeks after purchase and by now we were losing up to 2 springs a day! We packed it up, contacted Macro and requested immediate action. Which they did. Sent us a brand new, sealed 12 foot bounce king trampo and collected the broken one. Which by the way, we only saw once we packed it up, the frame was also busy tearing. (Disclaimer, my daughter that is the primary user, is 12..., just in case someone calls weight limit!) Not! So set up the next one, looked same as the other, this time the net seemed to be more tight then the previous, which seemed like a good sign. (The first net hung loose, which I have never in my years having trampos, have ever seen, but ok.) 1 day! The new trampolene started breaking springs within 1 day! Today mark the 4 week time we had the new trampo and it is a mess. We will have to pack it up tomorrow and this time we demand a refund. We do not want a new trampo from you ever again, so just refund us and we will be done with it. But not responding to our requests for call backs, just make this so much worse. After all, Macro at least responded... but this is not a macro issue anymore, this is a supplier with a VERY BAD PRODUCT issue. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY.
