Good day, on 18 November 2024 I emailed the company to enquire about how much I owe on my contract cellphone account. I received a response to say my contract ends in March 2024.On 20 November 2024, I further enquired about settling this account completely in December 2024. A total amount of R1695.00 was debited from my bank account. My calculations differ because if my contract ends in March an amount of R1356 was due and not the amount that was debited from my account. Further more I emailed the company for a paid up letter and confirmation that the account in closed and for them to pay my refund. I got a response back from them today informing me that a paid up letter will be issued after 40 working days from last payment and it will be end Feb 2024. This response not make sense at all as I paid up my account.
My fibre line dropped the 1st time about a week and few days ago. The fibre line had dropped again and I have had no internet for over a week. I send emails and call the Evotel support number with no assistance. To date I haven't received a call from a technician and there seems to be no resolution in site. I am extremely frustrated and have a child that does online schooling and missed out on over 10 online classes. I'm not in arrears on my account and pay promptly each month. I spoke to Somila and no clear guidance was given on when my service will be restored.
The consultant I spoke to knew the products and could explain the differences between the products well. Very informative
