I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and the ongoing delay regarding a refund that was due over a week ago. Despite my multiple attempts to resolve this privately, the communication has been unacceptably poor: Broken Promises: I was originally told the refund would be processed by Wednesday, 18 February. Lack of Accountability: After several ignored emails, I was finally told on Friday (20th) that they were "following up." No further updates were provided until I had to escalate the matter myself. Vague Timelines: On the 24th, I was assured by staff that a manager promised the matter would be settled "before the end of this week." As of today, Friday, 27 February, I still have no confirmation of payment or a proof of payment (POP). While I have tried to remain patient, being forced to constantly chase my own money is exhausting. A dealership's reputation is built on how they handle issues, and right now, Thorp GWM Haval Plumstead | GWM Haval is failing. To the Management: Please stop offering vague assurances and provide a proof of payment immediately. I should not have to resort to public reviews and formal channels to get a response on a simple refund.
I cannot express my utter disappointment in the lack of urgency and communication regarding a serious issue that occurred during my recent vehicle service. My vehicle was booked in for a routine service, during which certain issues were to be assessed during a test drive. Shockingly, the technician conducting the test drive exceeded the speed limit, resulting in a traffic infringement issued to me — the registered owner. This was first raised with the dealership on 11 July 2025, and today is 28 July 2025. In all this time, I have not received a single productive response or resolution. I followed up on 14 July, and again later that day. The only response I received was from reception, stating they would check with management and revert. No update followed. I followed up again on 21 July, this time including the Dealer Principal (DP) in the mail trail. On 22 July, the DP responded saying he would find out what the team had achieved. Another manager also responded that same day, apologizing for the delay and promising to revert soonest. Yet, no update has been received to date. The lack of communication and accountability has been appalling. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I expected professionalism and prompt resolution — instead, I’ve been met with silence and delays. I will not be returning to this dealership, nor will I recommend it to anyone.
