A Cookie Shop that Doesn't Know How to Make Cookies.
The cookies were subpar and somewhat undercooked... I also got sick after eating one while in cape town as a snack. I should have known better than to trust a shop on Mr D without clear and professional photos of their food.

The best bakery for Cape Town residents :)
Charly's Bakery is literally THE BEST! First, there was great service - smooth and immediate responses via WhatsApp before heading in. The goods were on-time for pick-up and tasted delicious. And yes, the wine (Chocolate Block) does go well with that cake to my surprise. Give these guys a chance! They will not disappoint.

Yet another disappointment from M&B
Had a very disappointing experience here this morning. Unfortunate because the staff was actually decent. Ordered an eggs Benedict and the poached egg was essentially raw on a stale piece of bread with poorly cut salmon. The first round of our breakfast was sent back too and my friends bacon was burnt and sunny side up eggs raw to the yolk too. This chain of restaurant never fails to disappoint with their food (you know, the main reason I went there).

My client liason was incredibly helpful and knowledgable.
I am hugely impressed with the quality and patience of my client liason. Dane helped me so much during a stressful time when I was offline and was very knowledgeable and kind. He gave me great support and his advice was invaluable. I hate to admit it, but the issue was my fault all along, but we found it out and put it right! He clearly knows his stuff and explained everything clearly and slowly. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. Thank you so much for your help!

The Courier Guy is good and an up and comer, but they have some things to work on...
I just want to show some appreciation for how much better The Courier Guy is than literally all of their competition except for maybe RAM which I would put on the same level, but they are very expensive compared to TCG. The staff are decent, the parcels are almost always sent in good time if not just one day later, and the prices are very reasonable. I see these guys everywhere. The only issue that I have is that they do not open over the weekends. Why? I do not know. They have absolutely no reason not to be open. When you do not open over the weekend, you get backlogs. This country loves their idiotic Monday and Friday holidays over which TCG also closes, so you can imagine the backlog that they must face. I also which that the drop points were smaller. I just have to send tiny flashdrives to clients for my job, and I could EASILY fit five of those into one small compartment at their Pudo lockers, but I have to use 5 different compartments for some reason. Surely, it would not be very hard to code that or at least ask me when I drop those off if I can fit them into one compartment. It just wastes space that other people could have used.

Overpriced, late deliveries, and terrible service.
They are one of the worst couriers to exist. Not only are their drivers some of the most consistently rude people that I have ever encountered, but they have this super annoying feature of notifications that texts you every day for like a week saying that your parcel is ready and out of delivery, but then... nothing. They do not deliver it. They tell you that it is out for delivery and to expect it before 5pm, but they do not deliver. Eventually, I have to get in contact with someone who ONLY THEN tells me that it will be delivered today, and it is. I think that they are just lazy (as per the usual) and do not like to ship to estates because it is more effort than individual residences since they are searched at the gate. What a trashy, overpriced courier company.

HelloPeter Allows Spam and Low-Effort Obviously Fake Reviews
HP allows for fake reviews on way too many front page businesses that probably pay them just to get put at the top. I cannot believe how slimy this site is with allowing all of these OBVIOUSLY fake reviews in the thousands. I do not get it. Some of these are so low-effort that they only include one single word. That is insane!
