I was promised a 24-72 hours resolution with my fibre line being down and nothing has been fixed 72 hours has lapsed from the day it was launched…. I haven’t had internet since Saturday its Thursday today and i still cant work. I am not gonna be paid for these days i cant work but i paid yall for this service ….…. i think if i had my service with open serve directly I would be serviced better that what hall have given me all these years i have been a loyal customer to y'all
Its really crazy that i always have to put a complaint up here to to get help I upgraded my fibre to hundred download and hundred upload speed last year in March which was 2024 it only upgraded for a few months but my invoice change to 50 x 50 which was incorrect and then I kept on calling to get that fixed it never got fixed then later on when I did a speed test instead of them fixing my invoice to be hundred by hundred They actually downgraded my speed to 50 x 50 so all this time I’ve been paying 848 for a speed that I’m not getting and now when I raise this they telling me that I’ve never upgraded which is bull**** I want a refund of all the money that I’ve been paying for your speed that I haven’t been getting I also want them to fix my speed because this is for my work if they can’t fix my speed can I just cancel this thing because it’s giving me so much stress all the time I have to come here and lay complaints instead of them just fixing my problems when I call them I just want the service that I’m paying for is that too much to ask. Trust me i would not recommend home-connect to my worst enemy .
I have been receiving emails and notifications being threatened that I'm going to be taken to collections because of a debt that I don't owe and I have been reaching out to this company to try and explain what has been happening with their client who is escalating me and it's rain but but my attempt to reach out has not been successful because I haven't received any responses to my emails and their WhatsApp was not really helpful cuz after putting my ID number I was told that uh they can't pull up any information under my name but they keep on sending me notifications and emails so I don't understand how this is supposed to help me or their client because it doesn't make sense
When I first signed up for rain they sent me the router and I use dead for like 3 to 5 months I think and I was experiencing a lot of network issues and I escalated it but I never got help then I cancel the service and started using homeconnect so initially when I requested to cancel they told me that they would come pick up the router and then the following month I got a a bill and then I called them to find out what the bull was about because I had already canceled then they told me that they could see with us stop using the service and it'll be canceled and the will come pick up the router but they never picked up the router and now they say I'm owing over R2,000 and they are taking me to collections and the Collections company is threatening to ruin my credit score and I've worked so hard for my credit score in its perfect so I don't understand why they would want to ruin my credit score for something that they did I am very unhappy with this and I need resolution because I'm not going to give away my money for some service that I never used . And after all this experience I'm never recommending anyone to waste their time and money to join rain cuz firstly their service sucks and they are customers service also sucks
The whole company is not the problem , Campaign VERIZON management sucks I resigned and had incentive money due to me i have been talking to my previous manager she keeps saying its escalted but never gives me feed back ....I have a lot of complaints including employee abuse they will forever make you feel like your job is not safe, higher managers talk to employees unprofessionally and treat em like trash and make you work under difficult conditions etc its a lot ...really i dont care about all they did to me at this point i just want my money
I am not even sure where to begin but I just wanna let you know that if you are out there considering taking up your fiber line with Home connect Don't all they do is escalate all the tike and not solve the problem .I took out a fiber package with them on the 2nd of November 2022 and it took them forver to do the installation and after that they couldnt activate the line till the 8th of December 2022 . They had claimed it was activated on the 16th of November and sent me invoices currently 2 days after the activation my line has been suspended and i am being asked to pay for a service i wasn't even using for them to activate my line ...I feel very exploited and my rights according to the Consumer Protection Act have been brocken to peaces I am not even able to cancel because I am asked to pay over 3k to cancel I am warning you DON'T EVER SIGN WITH HOME CONNECT YOU WILL REGRET IT
I am an unhappy customer and I have been in contact with home connect from the whole of November 2022. I started an application for fibre and its took forever for them to do an installation after the installation till now on the 2nd of December 2022 my line is not activated I have tried calling , emailing , sending WhatsApp massages but I am not getting any help all they do is claim they have escalated but i never get feedback on the 16 of December they sent the router but and claimed the line has been activated... Now they want to charge me R208 and R499 for a service i have not received when i tried to cancel I was told i need to pay over 2K so now i am stuck it means no matter what I do i am going to pay for what I don't have 😭 I feel like my consumer rights are being violated and I am not getting any help what so ever
