It is more than a year ago that I requested assistance from Afr mobile. According to my partner she never signed any agreement with them. Yet, they debited her bank account on 25/26 April 2025 with the amount of R841,00 without her consent. Several communications were sent to Afri Mobile with no feedback or assistance. Please urgently tend to this matter.
My partner have been struggling with communication and especially feedback on a query she lodged with Afrimob. According to her she cancelled the debit order with her bank and her bank confirmed that the debit order was cancelled. Three days later Afrimob again deducted an amount from her bank account. According to her she never signed any contract with Afrimob. She is very frustrated as she mentioned that she never gave Afrimob any permission and confirmation to deduct payments from her account. She mentioned that this has been a struggle for several months. She mentioned that no one ever responds to her queries or provide her with any feedback. She is absalutely devastated and frustrated and request Afrimob to respond to her as soon as possible.
My partner was promised that she will receive feedback and a resolution on the debit order from Africa Mobile they authorized according to her by no later than 20 May 2025. She wants to know, according to her, why Capitec do not respond with proper feedback and paying the money back that went through her account to Africa Mobile
My partner still did not receive any confirmation that they will refund her for the payment they deducted from her bank without authorization according to her. They contacted her and tried to convince her not to cancel the contract which, according to her, she did not sign. She wants the deducted payment back into her account as soon as possible. Can this be so difficult?
Capitec refuses to cancel a debit order from my partner's bank account. Africa Mobile deducted an amount of app R2000,00 from her account according to her and Capitec, according to her,, just said they can do nothing. How can a bank according to her, deduct money through a debit order which she did not sign. How is this possible that the bank do not want to investigate this matter and assist her to get the money back?
My partner contacted Africa Mobile several times, with no success. More than R2000 is deducted from her bank account end of April. She did not sign any contract with Africa Mobile, yet they deduct this amount from her account. The deduction on the bank statement says AfriMob. This was from her Capitec bank account. Capitec said to her they can do nothing about it. No one from Africa Mobile yet responded or provided feedback at all.
Menu deceiving. Items on menu not what is available. They should remove items from menu if not available in peak seasons. Charles, the manager, arrogant and blame the company. Does not take responsibility. Sat for app 30 minutes then informed order will be delayed for another 15 minutes because had to serve large table. Should they not arrange additional staff when restaurant is busy I mean, this is peak season
