Took my car to Knysna Hyundai workshop for a warranty claim. My claim was for the dealership to look at the cooling system as the vehicle overheated and there was a noise coming from the engine while I was driving few days before. Signed the job card and left. Lyndall, who I found at the workshop called to say I had to collect the car. Warranty will not cover the claim, the car was involved in an accident and the radiator was leaking. I went to collect the vehicle, to my surprise I had to pay R800 diagnosis fee. I questioned this and he wanted to know from me if I thought they worked for free? Took my car and drove away, came back 2 days later to ask where was the radiator leaking? Yes there is clear physical impact that must have happened but the radiator was never affected. I have had the car for 4 months now and have never been in an accident. I wanted more answers, Lyndall called his technician - Siya. Things got worse as he could not answer my questions about his diagnosis. He got heated and told me to bring the car so he can put it on the lift to show me where it was leaking. The 2 clowns were in my ear by now saying whatever they can. Telling me to call the police or Allsound security as I would never get my money back. Siya's notes were a mere 15 minutes to get to his conclusion. When I asked the cause for the noise in the engine, he did not know. What did I pay for? My advise to all Hyundai owners in Knysna, please think twice about taking your car there. They are clowns at that workshop and I doubt Siya's abilities in carrying out his duties. Judging at how quiet their worshop is, I should have picked up they needed R800 more than I do. Lyndall and Siya, rude and arrogant that will run this dealership into a costly legal battle. Maybe they looked at my skin colour and thought I don't qualify as a customer. To make matters worse, Dale their superior applauds and maintains they did what they had to do and acted according to the company's standards. It is clear, the 2 have their master in Dale, they learn from him. In case you did not know Sir, customer service is very important when running a business. You need to equip yourself with conflict resolution skills. Don't encourage incorrect behavior.
When you read unhappy and frustrated clients writing about Milnerton Nissan, believe them. The entire team here lacks the knowledge of what CUSTOMER SERVICE means. I read comments too and decided to go ahead and buy a 2019 Hyundai Grand i10, the car looked cheap and I liked it. App**** on line and was assigned to Quinton, the salesman. I collected the car, Quinton looked too busy and I observed from the waiting area. The dealership is disjointed. It's every man for himself kinda business. As busy as he was, his manager or supervisor - whoever he is should have assisted him but instead the seniour managers walked up and down talking on their phones or sitting in their little offices. I must have sat there for about 4 hours. Quinton had to go and be at the car wash side, running back and forth with deals and files. I waited and took the car even though it was not ready. Fast forward, I drove from Milnerton and before I could reach Knysna the car was due for service already. I called Quinton and explained to him. He said the car was priced so low because it had to be serviced. I called ABSA bank and wanted out of the deal. They suggested I cancel with the dealership. Finally I got to know there was Ian, some pre-owned cars manager. He made promises, empty promises to be exact. I waited over 3 weeks for them to either service or come fetch their car. The temporary licence has since expired. Now I am unable to drive this car..... So my advice for anyone that thinks of buying from this dealership, BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. You will end up here with chest pains like myself. To say this is the worst dealership is an understatement. This is no dealership, ****A shops are run better than this. Never again will I go and buy from them even if they give me a R5 car.
Bought a car from this dealership just before Christmas. Flip, the so called Sales Manager delivered the car. From a distance I pointed out to him visible and unacceptable panelbeating and paint work on the car. He promised to fix everything when panelbeaters are open. There is a big noise like loose parts on the front left wheel. Upon looking underneath, oil leaks and worn out parts clearly visible. The car must have been in an accident. The seats not properly secured and everything about the car was just a rush. I called Flip, told him to fetch his car, he said he would arrange for collection. Three weeks later am still stuck with their DEFECTIVE Polo. My advice to anyone who wants to buy from this dealership - Rather go elsewhere or you will regret buying from them. Big skelms
