Having to stand in the queue at the kiosk for 1 item that is at the kiosk is not good. I stand in the queue with people with trolleys when I could have been gone a long time ago. Pity I don't know where else I can get the item I need
Bought items on Takealot, paid immediately on 5 December 2024. Then on 6 December shipped from Takealot warehouse to courier facility. 10 December @ 15:24 left courier facility. 11 December @ 01h03 went out for delivery. Up until now, no contact. Today I drove to the Takealot pickup facility in William Moffet Road & after a lot of uncer*****y as to where the parcel is, they realised that it was at CourierIt for delivery. Drove across town to the CourierIt offices & also there could not get any assistance as they said the order #167385716 shows on their system as an order that was delivered in March 2016 for House & Home. After wasting my time & my fuel, came back home "parcelless". Next time I rather collect my orders to avoid all this unnecessary drama & wasting my time & fuel. Guys, fuel is expensive to be wasting it like this when someone didn't do their job.
I am compelled to register my profound dissatisfaction with the service rendered by Atlas Security, which I find to be wholly inadequate and reflective of practices that are, at best, questionable and, at worst, exploitative. On 16 September 2024, I incurred a charge of R581.35 for the repair of a malfunction in the security system, during which I was also required to pay for the replacement of a missing magnet from the kitchen door. Despite this intervention, the system has once again malfunctioned. Atlas Security has now levied an additional R495 as a call-out fee, notwithstanding the proximity of my residence to their offices, which is merely one kilometre. To compound matters, I have been informed that the motherboard is defective and requires replacement, for which a separate quotation is to be provided. It is manifestly evident that the system failures in question arise not from any misuse or negligence on my part but from latent defects or inherent deficiencies in the system’s hardware and software—both of which fall squarely within the purview of Atlas Security’s responsibility. It is therefore unreasonable, inequitable, and, I contend, legally indefensible for the company to repeatedly shift the financial burden of rectifying these defects onto me as the consumer. The Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA), establishes clear protections for consumers against precisely such conduct. Section 55 of the CPA guarantees the right to goods that are of good quality, durable, and free from defects, while Section 56(2) obligates suppliers to repair or replace defective goods at their own expense if such defects manifest within a reasonable period. Atlas Security’s repeated imposition of costs for addressing systemic faults—faults that are demonstrably attributable to their own products—may constitute a breach of these statutory obligations and an unfair commercial practice under the law. This recurring and financially prejudicial conduct undermines the principles of fairness, accountability, and consumer trust, which are foundational to any legitimate commercial relationship. I strongly urge Atlas Security to revisit their approach and assume the responsibility that is rightfully theirs under the law by addressing these defects without further financial imposition upon me. Should this matter remain unresolved, I reserve my right to escalate it to the relevant regulatory bodies or pursue any other legal remedies available to me. Atlas Security’s current approach is not only unsatisfactory but also deeply inequitable, and I caution prospective clients to be fully cognisant of the potential risks of engaging with this service provider.
A big thumbs up to Ms. Matshaya. Passion for her job. Also the other staff in that office have been extremely helpful
Yesterday I sent them an email requesting info on my policy with them. The message was read but up until now, no response. Disappointed 💯
Took my car to them for a dent on the passenger side and they did an excellent job. They even washed the engine and the car came back spotless. I would recommend them to anyone for their professionalism and caring.
Took my car in for a minor dent. Wowww, the guys are amazing. Professionally done. Thumbs up to Kholiswa for her outstanding work. We need more people like her. Even though the dent was on the back passenger door, when I got there, they had also cleaned and polished the engine to look in pristine condition. They send you email updates daily on each and every step of the way and the updates have pictures so you can know how far is your car. I will recommend them to everyone as there are few places that make you feel like a king.
After posting a review on my bad experience with them, they called me yesterday and had the audacity to try and explain their way out of this mess. I am so disappointed in them and would advise others to look elsewhere for any extended warranty policies. I won't even bother to engage with them again as they had surely displayed that they won't be paying for fixing my car. Would I have known this was going to happen, I wouldn't have taken their policy.
After paying Innovation Group for extended warranty last year, took my car in for mechanical challenges and they refused to pay. Never thought they will do this. My advice, run away from them as they will abandon you in your hour of need.
Last week I took my iron to exchange it. They didn't want to exchange it & told me they will take it in for repairs, completely disregarding the fact that whilst it's gone for repairs, I will sit without an iron. Until today, I haven't got that one back. I had to go buy a new iron at Clicks (at least they assured me that they will exchange it should it break within the guarantee period). Game Stores is a complete no go shop for me when it comes to electrical appliances. I advise others to do the same and avoid stress.
