I have a problem I made a booking on the radisson website last night 28/03/2025 for two nights 28 & 29/3/2025. The response said quickly make a booking because we have last minute special, pay within 10 minutes, R3700 without breakfast and R4200 with breakfast. Because I was driving on N3 with my wife and it was already after 21h30 & we needed a hotel with 24hrs as we were driving from Estcourt, I showed my wife the prices as she was the one driving, we agreed on the one without breakfast as we were going to drive to RICHARDS BAY in morning, we just needed food for the night. I chose to pay R3700, as it was their international site of Radisson, they converted to dollars in bank APP without checking. the conversion to rands. To my surprise they took over R11000 from my card. I quickly phoned umhlanga Radisson hotel, they said I must come, they will sort it when I get there. Fine we got the,they called the manager & we waited for her 30 minutes. She came and started blaming my booking. Com, I told her I didn't use my booking. Com & my booking. Com does take money, they make a reservation and you pay the exact agreed price at the hotel. They said i must check in & they were going to sort the matter in the morning since I said I will look for another hotel cause I need my full refund, they requested me to check in as they were going to sort the matter in the morning. The morning came, up to now they are running around, have no solution & they bul**** me to check in for Over R11k ,now they are running away from resolving the matter and they are hiding with my booking. com who are not part of this booking since I didn't use them. I used Radisson website to book. I really need help urgently, as all my plans for the weekend have been spoiled financially by them.
I went to Telkom express in Canal Walk, Cape Town on the 18/02/2024 to enquire about the laptop that my son needed for his varsity, they suggested D16 I9. I confirmed with my son before I ordered it. They called me to collect it because they didn't have it in store when they got it. I collected it, before they gave it to me they opened it to confirm & I trusted them since I have many accounts with them. To my surprise when I got home same day my son told me it's not the I9 but an I5. Since I was going out of town soon as I came back I took it back to them since I had informed them in less than 12hrs that they gave me a wrong laptop. I came back from GP & I gave it to the manager of the day. Now it is more than 3 weeks later they are forcing me to come back and take the same wrong laptop which my son can not use for his varsity project. They have it with them as they opened it & they are forcing me to take a wrong contract. Since my son was being left behind I was forced to take another telkom contract on the same canal walk for the right D16 I9 at a different shop. I do not need the i5 & they are forcing it to me because they can't take responsibility for what they did. The product is with them in the same condition they gave it to me. Kindly assist
In 2020 just after COVID19 Lockdown announcement, I was visited by Mr Clement Lopes, a sales manager from Phambili CW Solutions Marketing his services and requesting me to support his business. He came to my practice every week for almost 8 months begging for business, what really made him to pressure me was that I told him that the CCTV that was installed (I had fitted at that time was not working). • After he persuaded me for that long period, at the beginning of December 2020 I eventually agreed to give him (Mr Clement) business. And because of his persistence I started trusting him and what he has to offer which was: 1. 8 Channel CCTV 2. Cameras 3. Landline phone with minutes enough for the practice 4. 10 GB Of DATA Monthly 5. Also the service maintenance for a duration of three years (“Five years?) • Mr Clement Lopes (Phambili Solutions) in all the pursuit for the business for months I began to trust him for his services. • After he had from me that I was not going on holidays for Christmas, he requested that he schedules to do the installations on the 24th of December 2020 because the practice was busy they cannot do installation in the presence of patients, so I agreed for the 26th of December 2020. • On the 26th December 2020 Mr Clement Lopes came with his technician. They came with a 6 CCTV Channel which is still there, (6 Cameras). • Mr Clement knew that I had a 9 Channel CCTV extender and cameras which were already fitted on out meetings before the agreement was done between me and Phambili CW Solutions. • I suspect the mixing of different softwares was the cause of the system failure, I’m not an IT Specialist but a medical Dr hence I agreed. All this is not mentioned by Mr Clement/ Phambili CW Solutions/ SASFIN Bank in court papers or even in what was sent to their lawyers. The physical truth of what was fitted is still at the premises (My Practice). At that time before signing the final document, I was signing Phambili CW Solutions and there was never any MENTION that they’re installing on behalf of SASFIN Bank. They came to me as a Black company that needed support, but they delivered poor service. • Mr Clement Lopes requested to use my 9 Channel CCTV extender to add 2 more channels on his 6 Channel CCTV to make 8 views of CCTV and to use my cameras which were already installed, I agreed since he said it was holidays they cannot find a full 8 channel CCTV Because of festive season• Mr Clement Lopes came back in January 2021 first week to continue with the setup of the rest of the things. All this was service offered by Phambili CW Solutions and there was no MENTION of SASFIN Bank as the equipment owners. • On the 13th of January 2021 Phambili/ Mr Clement Lopes came to the Practice and it was a busy day as usual, he came to test especially the CCTV setup and views, it all seemed to be working well in all views. He then said he was gonna phone his office for me to confirm that everything was working. He made me speak to a lady at their offices before I signed the debit orders and they are now using SASFIN Bank for their debit orders in 2021, so I must ignore the forms I signed with Phambili letterhead and sign this new debit system they are now using. • He pointed where I must sign after testing and not everything in the document was shown to me, so I signed and I rushed back to continue with my patients. • Mr Clement/ Phambili Solutions never told me that I was signing a rental agreement that says the CCTV belongs to SASFIN Bank. All I knew was that I was signing Phambili CW debit order banking system that they have just started using from their SASFIN Bank account. • A few days later Mr Clement Lopes came to my Practice asking for the title deed of the building and when I asked why he gave me no answer. Unfortunately the property is still on the name of the Dr whom I bought the practice from, due to delayed transfer issues. • Before the end of January 2021 the CCTV views started to work intermittently (On & Off) until only 5 views were working. When the CCTV started to be dysfunctional I called Mr Clement Lopes, he promised to come the following Friday to fix it and he never set his foot again at my practice. Every time I called him, he kept promising that next Friday till this day. • I kept calling hime for over 8 weeks, even data/minutes for calls were an issue. I gave up calling Mr Clement Lopes/ Phimbili CW Solutions after 8 weeks of trying but the debit orders continued. • After +6 months I went to seek help from Mampana attorneys as I was not happy that I was paying for services where Phambili keeps making empty promises to come and fix the service. I requested them to terminate the services as I was not happy with their empty promises for a long time i.e Mr Clement / Phambili not showing up. • It was only after Mr Clement Lopes/ Phambili CW Solutions received communication from my attorneys that they decided to respond to the attorneys. They decided to go to my attorneys office I believe after receiving a letter of termination from them. And that was after ignoring my complains over 6 months. I lost trust in their services and company. This happened around August 2021. I may not remember the exact dates but in the presence of my attorney and Mr Clement/ Phambili, the lawyer decided to call me when they (Phambili) were in his office on speaker and I was at the Practice premises and informed me that he (Mr Clement) was in his presence about the CCTV termination issue. • That was when Mr Clement Lopes requested that they come and fix the system without any apologies of ignoring and not honouring their part to ensure that everything was working/ maintained. Mr Clement only requested to come and fix it only after 7 months of waiting for them to come.• During our conversation in the presence of an attorney, I told him that the trust I had for Phambili is lost because of them ignoring me and I cannot continue trusting because I had to pay Mampana Attorneys to get their attention for a system that they promise/ agreement service to be maintained. My final response was I cannot continue with their services because none of what we agreed on before installation is not there from their part. • The Attorneys had given them a letter of termination. I never receive any call/ any communication from Phambili/ SASFIN Bank for any demand of rental agreement. The Attorneys said I must wait for any summons then they will go defend the matter in court. • I received summons from court in April 2022 which was written only SASFIN Bank (Not Phambili CW Solutions) now. As I was of the understanding that I gave Phambili CW Solutions the business. SASFIN Bank was their rental debiting bank/system and I was shocked. • I took the summons as the attorneys requested to them to start with the defence. I had no knowledge of the communication and responses between my Attorneys and Phambili (SASFIN Bank). All the time I thought Mampana were handling the matter and they’ll inform me of any developments but they never updated me. Even Phambili/ SASFIN Bank attorneys never informed me of their intentions/ any communication from them or their attorneys never came to my mail or even a call for their intentions. There was never even a call to me about collections of rental from SASFIN Bank/ Phambili. • On the 24th of June 2022 I received an email where my Attorneys (Mampana) at the time were responding to SASFIN attorneys email dated 20th June 2022 requesting settlement proposals. The email from SASFIN Bank attorneys ODBB Attorneys was never forwarded to me. In response to the 24th of June 2022 my Attorneys (Mampana attorneys) said they are no longer defending me. I never gotten the update form my defending attorneys of anything including terminating the defence. • ODBB Attorneys SASFIN Bank attorneys never called or emailed me demanding anything or informing me of their intentions to have judgement against my name or any proposals whilst knowing that my attorneys decided to withdraw the defence at the last minute. • I believe Phambili/SASFIN Bank were supposed to communicate with me regarding rental payments that I cancelled to stop being debited on my account and found out why did I stop them before any court actions. There was never even a letter of demand/ calls from them which is the normal way that banks even other service providers do when you owe them. • Phambili CW Solutions/ SASFIN Bank were aware from the termination letter that the CCTV or services from Phambili were not rendered properly from the side of Phambili and yet they went to court to demand that I pay for a system that is not working as agreed or as they marketed it to me. • Phambili CW Solutions/ SASFIN Bank did not provide and meet what they had offered to me for security of my practice. How then was I expected to continue paying for something that is not working? My practice had no land line since they stopped services in 2021 for over 14 months until I applied for a new number from Telkom for the practice. All this affected my practice because of COVID19 Lockdowns most patients couldn’t reach me/my practice because patients were scared of COVID19 and they could only come to see you on appointment. Why am I supposed to pay for services that started to be dysfunctional within days of installation? • all the remaining installed equipment is still there as it was installed. some of the things were stollen during break in on the night and morning of 18/05/2022-19/05/2022, but all CCTV fixtures including the machine remains intact because the CCTV machines are on the roof.
