Update of contract on 1 Feb with new sim card. Sim card never received
Neresa Naidoo helped me to add another car to my policy. She was very professional and called me back within minutes as promised after there was a glitch with the program. She also confirmed everything we discussed so that there was no misunderstanding when the policy was updated.
I bought a multi-purpose adhesive from Hyaat on 11 March that was supposed to be delivered within 10 - 15 days. Proof of payment was sent to me on that date. Since then, even after 3 follow-ups from my side, I received no response.
I ordered SuperGlue General-purpose repair adhesive on 11 March and received confirmation of payment on that date. I have not received the merchandise yet and delivery was promised within 10 - 15 days. I followed up 3 times, but no response.
On 30 November 2023 I bought a 9.5 KW10 KVA diesel generator online and paid R43 400 for the generator advertised, including delivery.and received confirmation that it should arrive on 7 December 2023. We wanted it before we leave for our holiday so that the ladies staying behind can use it during loadshedding or power issues. Later I received an email from Leroy Mervin that the order was not accepted by Designer concepts and that "the full amount of R37 391,30"(not the amount I paid) will be refunded within a few days. I informed Leroy Merlin that they accepted my money and that the generator was in stock when I paid and tht I expect a similar or better generator to be delivered by them. After I followed up on my demand, they asked Designer Concepts to call me (they did not bother to call themselves and explain that the generator was out of stock - not my problem... My money was on hold at the bank and went through to Leroy Merlin on 7 December - a week after I was informed that they cannot deliver the generator. It is just fair for a reputable business to make a plan and deliver a similar or better generator if it is "suddenly"out of stock.
I bought a 2021 Nissan X-trail from Motus Toyota Strijdom Park. I want to know if it is unfair from me to expect that the relevant tools, like a jack with its crank handle will be included. I had a flat tyre and the crank handle is missing. I tried to contact the person who sold the car to me, but apparently he is not with the company anymore. I then contacted after sales client services online, but I haven't received any reply from Motus Toyota Strijdom Park.
I receive data on the 12th of each month. I received 100GB data on 12 June and after 4 days it was gone. I have been trying to find out from MTN why it disappeared since I have only been browsing the internet and reading online books. eventually received the following message: "Can you kindly dial*180*87243# OK to have your data usage report for the past 30 days sent to your email address." I tried and received the message that no email address is associated to the number - even though I receive monthly bills for it. I don't want to wait until the end of the month to get a month's data usage - I just want to know what has happened to the data during those 4 days. Apparently MTN cannot help me with this request so that it can be fixed asap. I wonder what their next excuse will be for the disappearing data. There is no way that 100 GB data can be used in less than 5 days.
For those of you who got scammed by this company, report it to your bank's fraud department. I did and the Nedbank account I paid the money into is now blocked and the bank opened a fraud case at SAPS. If you paid the money in less than 40 days, you can claim it back from your bank.
Sales Director: Anthony, Order #4583. I ordered a Yanmar 15 KVA Silent 3-phase ATS Diesel Generator on 21 Jan 2023. I received confirmation on the same day that they received proof of payment. On 24 Jan 2023 I received confirmation that it will be delivered on 27 Jan to which I replied that I won't be here and requested that they deliver on 26 January or 6 Feb. They confirmed that it will be delivered on 26 January. On 25 January they requested payment that will be refunded at delivery, which I paid. Their reason was to ensure urgent delivery by 12:30 on 26 January. On 26 January I queried three times after 14:00 on when delivery will take place and the first two times was told there is a delay and that delivery will take place later the afternoon or during the night, which did not happen. On 27 January they said that delivery will take place on 6 February. On 6 Feb. I queried again on the time of delivery and was told to be patient, I will receive notification of the delivery. It still hasn't happened.
