For distance learning, proper communication is crucial. Thanks to @ClarenceDomingo, my registration was sorted out smoothly. Clarence could communicate between departments and sort out the changes speedily. Thanks, Clarence!
As a new student, I'd like to thank Abigail in the finance and Cayla-Ann for student support in the Education department. Swift responses with clarity and trust is a number one for newcomers!
It is almost 1 year since the disappointing experience with Lecon Electrical. To this day no compensation for pretense knowledge/skill to install an electric system has been made. You need to know that the substantial amount of money Shawn received in trust was not returned to my small business, or compensated in any other way, after the failed installation. Sies.

Never even got to meet Finley at my (dis)appointment this morning 🙁 This morning I was running a few minutes late after I was over prepping for a potential new friend. I called to inform Michelle, as to be considerate. Getting a bit lost in the unfami**** area I phoned to ask for a pin. "I told you to use Waze" Okay, that's a bit rude I thought. Anyway... found the Haven. On arrival, I was informed that Finley wasn't actually ready for adoption as he hadn't had all his necessary vaccinations (and I wasn't allowed to continue responsibility at my own vet). I feel Michelle could have informed me via text between Thursday afternoon at 17:00 and this morning - when I called - as I was driving from Parktown for the appointment. Nonetheless... I asked if I could meet Finley and then do admin. "No". Cool, so I filled in the form. I didn't know the square meter size of the yard and neither the height of the walls. So I said: "I did make the video as you asked though" Just before showing the requested long video I made of our yard and house, I asked to please stand outside the reception room so as to not hear the barking of the dog closed up upstairs - hyperacusis is a real thing. Michelle suggested it would be better for me not to continue the adoption and so basically chased me away after the very unfriendly and hostile greeting/interaction because I assumed I was a 'client' and would like to feel considered in this adoption. So dissapointed! I went back in to ask back my personal information I'd filled in on the form, but it wasn't given back to me. This is the worst human interaction I've experienced in a very very long time! Actually, I feel quite traumatised. I hope Finley is happy soon and out of his cage.
I would never recommend this so-called Dr to any woman who is concerned/in a fragile state with their femininity. During my appointment, I explained my concerns to the 'Dr'. We went on to do a pap smear, I got emotional and the 'Dr.' asked me: Why are you crying, it's not like I am raping you.' I was extremely shocked at her rude, VERY unprofessional response. It actually affected my trust in doctors for a long time. It is disgusting that a person promotes themselves to be so kind and caring and has the nerve to speak to clients (that pay a lot) in this manner. Hypocrite. She never apologised.
