Active since Feb 2023
I had a personal loan and credit card with African Bank. Both accounts were settled, meaning payed up but whenever I make a credit enquiry, I'm told I have 2 active accounts with African Bank. I have consulted the branch God knows how many times with no success. When I call the call center one agent tells one thing and the other tells another. I'm very disappointed and disgusted by this bank's practice. HOW HARD IS IT TO UPDATE YOUR CLIENTS INFO WITH THE CREDIT BEREAUS???? *********** BUNCH!!!
On January 25 2023 I made an online payment to Dstv multichoice for R770. Then a week later on the 30th of January 2023 an amount of R767 was debited from my account with the description Dstv again. So I called fnb fraud department but they kept sending me from person to another whereby each time I would spend up to an hour while holding the line on to be told they can't help me. So I went to the branch but also they couldn't assist me instead was told to call the fraud department again. I've been calling everyday now still nothing.My bank statement shows everything I'm telling them but somehow they choose not to see it FNB IS RUNNING A HUGE SCAM ON ITS CUSTOMERS!!! INCOMPETENT AND RUDE STAFF!!! THIS BANK IS USELESS AND HIRES INCOMPETENT PEOPLE. IM MOVING BANKS NXA USELESS BUNCH
