Sun City Cabanas Hotel is not a conventional hotel but a boarding facilities type. Their rates are very high for their small rooms. Their family units are one room with two single beds and a small couch. Four people share one shower. Their linen is only one sheet and a duvet. Two family members were itchy from the linen that was not properly cleaned and smelt dust. The aircon was not working. The water was cold in the morning for two mornings. There is no rooibos and liquid milk in the rooms. The hotel does not serve lunch and supper. Staff does not make clients leave with a great experience. Entertainment is expensive for an ordinary South African.
I have my two electric geysers converted to be powered by solar panels. Bundu Power did a magnificent work of installing Gecko system to heat my geysers. The system works very well to such extent that we power with only the solar panels and use Eskom only on cloudy days. Their service was excellent, hands on and responsive to calls salesperson, Jabu. Technicians were professional, knowledgeable, neat and did after sales follow up to check if all is well. Thank you to Bundu Power
APS adviced on suitable system and made an installation within a week of placing an order. The settings were made to minimally use the grid and save us money for the system to pay itself. Sunsyk 5kw system is reliable. The workmanship is excellent. Their pricing is above that of competition.
I took up a contract with Cartrack to install a vehicle tracking unit for R154 per month. I had to follow them multiple times to do the installation through their sloppy call centre and whatsaap platform. A field technician was sent to my home in two weeks to install a tracking unit. Since day of installation the vehicle location on the app was stuck on the location of the tracking device and not updating locations as the vehicle was moved around. To report the problem was a hussle again with sloppy uncaring agents at the call centre and empty promises on the whatsapp. A week after calling them daily another field technician was sent to repair the unit. He could not find the fault and replaced the unit with a new unit, so he said. The newly installed unit was also doing the same problem of not updating location. I lodged a complaint again, I was promised a technician will be sent to repair the unit. I requested that they send me an email with a commitment that I would not be charged any payment for this month as I am not recieving a service. That never happened, the unit is still not working and the technician is yet to come. It is a nightmare to deal with Cartrack and I am locked in 36months contract with them. No one knows what will happen in the event of emergency as my insurance will also be repudiated due to malfunctioning unit. I have not been provided with customer number and no references for queries. Request for their promises to be sent by email are declined with the insistence that they use only audio recordings. Complaints to the CEO email are not acknowledged and not responded to. If you hear Cartrack run away; empty promises. My personal experience.
