Maemo Motors Commercial Rustenburg Truck Service Station
Re: Complaint and assistance needed; Maemo Motors Commercial Vehicles Rustenburg On 20 May 2024 we booked a service for the Wednesday 22nd of May 2024 with Jason. Our Truck went for a service at Maemo Motors Commercial Vehicles, Cnr R104 & 2nd Ave, Old Pretoria Road, Rustenburg on Wednesday 22 May but only arrived the afternoon. Jason said they cannot attend to the truck, since they were still busy with the other trucks that came in for service that day. We moved the service to Tuesday 28 May and discussed with Jason. The truck arrived already on Monday afternoon 27 May to ensure that they can start with the service early the next day. The truck spend the whole day there and we now heard that the truck was not attended to and cannot be attended to today. The truck is overdue for a service and we have waited an entire day where we could have used the truck and driver. This is unacceptable service. We have now booked elsewhere Primeco 012 035 0383

I am highly upset that you put our Business in harm’s way like that.
The Hive Administrators Pty Ltd also trading under Colonial Advisors & Associates and 'The Colony'. Imagine my shock when we were casually notified for the first time on the 7th of December 2022 that the fire risk on our policy has been cancelled - No upfront warning / notice period or terms provided. As our broker we trusted you with our business and factory. You have been at our factory many times, and did a walk through to asses the values more than once, you never mentioned anything about any safety requirements not met. Furthermore when Hollard did a survey in September and notified you as our broker we where not informed on any occasion of their requests. Neglecting to share critical information with us has placed our business in harms way, it has caused us great concern over our busiest season and resolved in costing us double on our insurance premium with only 50% cover while we address the concerns that you received already in September. Premiums where collected in advance for the full amount yet we had no cover over December when everyone went on Holiday we had no piece of mind. We were a good paying customer for years with minimal claims. I am highly upset that you put our Business in harms way like that.

On the 7th of December 2022 we received notification for the first time that the fire risk on our policy has been cancelled - No upfront warning or terms provided. We were NOT notified in September when the survey was conducted of fire risk that needed to be in place on a certain time period. If such notifications were sent out it to our broker it was NOT sent to us and that should be sorted out between our broker and Hollard - we cannot bare the consequence of that miscommunication between Hollard and the Brokers. Our brokers where The Hive Administrators Pty Ltd also trading under Colonial Advisors & Associates and 'The Colony'. We have a Bussiness, a Factory, it's unheard off to cancel insurance without any notice period or prior requests etc. Premiums where collected in advance for the full amount yet we had no cover over December when everyone went on Holiday we had no piece of mind. We were a good paying customer with Hollard for 5 years with minimal claims. I am highly upset that you put our Bussiness in harms way like that.
