The Hive Administrators Pty Ltd also trading under Colonial Advisors & Associates and 'The Colony'. Imagine my shock when we were casually notified for the first time on the 7th of December 2022 that the fire risk on our policy has been cancelled - No upfront warning / notice period or terms provided. As our broker we trusted you with our business and factory. You have been at our factory many times, and did a walk through to asses the values more than once, you never mentioned anything about any safety requirements not met. Furthermore when Hollard did a survey in September and notified you as our broker we where not informed on any occasion of their requests. Neglecting to share critical information with us has placed our business in harms way, it has caused us great concern over our busiest season and resolved in costing us double on our insurance premium with only 50% cover while we address the concerns that you received already in September. Premiums where collected in advance for the full amount yet we had no cover over December when everyone went on Holiday we had no piece of mind. We were a good paying customer for years with minimal claims. I am highly upset that you put our Business in harms way like that.

<p>Being fickle with insurance and the companies I do business with, especially entrusting them with my risk portfolio, I was absolutely amazed as the efficient and proficient staff at Colonial. I purchased a vehicle and was I notified that my vehicle was ready but my insurance was yet active as I wasn’t aware that the vehicle would be ready so quickly.</p> <p> </p> <p>I phoned Stephan and a few minutes later did I get all the documents to sign and accept. Within an hour of sending the signed documents to Stephan and Ulrika did I get my new policy documents (with notes on important numbers to keep) and my confirmation letter already send to the dealership.</p> <p> </p> <p>Well done, this is how insurance is done. Ulrika and Stephan, you are amazing people to do business with. If this is how Colonial treats customers, you are going to go far. Thank you again for amazing service!</p>
