Terrible experience. Do not buy a car with them. To be fair do not buy any VW car. They were suppose to do a basic diagnostic check to see if my car was fine after being damaged when ****** (VW are the most ****** car in the country, as I subsequently found out and thus you will pay massive premiums) but all they do is plug a pc in and check. No actual physical check. None of the electronics on the steering work. Then when you query it with them they are rude and speak over you, they don’t let you speak at all, and they tell you it’s not their problem. Their service is shocking. They will treat you like a piece of garbage. You call and they drop often. And times when you do get through you get put through to obnoxious representatives (ones you didn’t ask for) who blame you. I am still waiting for them to call back. It shouldn’t matter to me whether it is an insurance claim issue or a warranty issue. Fact of the matter is this is a brand new car and it is not how it was before damaged. We had to do the diagnostic check before taking it to repairs. You should have noticed the issue. But nope, they cut corners as much as possible to do a as little as possible. Their staff are beyond rude and unhelpful. VW are the most ****** car in this country and your car will be ******, broken into or whatever, and parts ******. You will pay massive premiums because of this, and when your car is ******, or broken into (it will) you will wait for weeks for parts and at the end of the day receive a subpar car back.
Do not go with Discovery insure! They are by far the worst experience I’ve had. You will pay the highest for them and get horrible service in return. There is no due diligence and when you phone to complain they just hang up on you. I’ve waited almost 2 months for a simple damage repair to be fixed on my car. During that time they never once offered an alternative (you have to request it yourself by the way), for a rental car, and they expect you to go up and down between chasing repairs and car dealership on your own expense. You will not get peace of mind with them. I’ve spent well over 2k on petrol and Ubers during this time. But after getting told my car was repaired it wasn’t, the electronics on the steering wheel did not work. This is a new car, not even 6000km old. When I raised it with them they said all I can do is fill out an “unhappiness report”. We do not care for your reports and unnecessary admin. Now it’s back and forth with VW (who are even more pathetic) on whether it is a warranty or an insurance issue. Regardless it’s not my problem - it’s not how my car was before the repairs. But when you phone either they make it out to be your problem and not theirs. They claim a diagnostic report was done (VW) and that everything is fine, but all they do is plug a computer in and test, they don’t even bother with a basic physical test, to actually check if everything is working. Now it’s back and forth, with two of the worst customer service is experiences. I tried calling now and the numbers do not exist, despite calling the exact number yesterday. Dear discovery, my car is not fixed, and it shouldn’t matter whether it’s a warranty issue or an insurance claim to me. I paid insurance to have peace of mind in that whatever happens to my car I will get it back as before. It’s not. It’s ridiculous that I have to deal with rude VW representatives telling me that it is not their issue. I am beyond livid with both parties. And when all this is over I will be cancelling my insurance. As well as all my other discovery products (medical, banking) - because if the service is like this for insurance, it will be the same for the rest. Whoever reads this - the discovery “rewards” are definitely not worth this.
DO NOT ORDER THROUGH INCREDIBLE CONNECTION. You will have the worst experience of your life. Guaranteed. Everything of theirs is outsourced. They use SkyNet as a courier - do yourself a favour and check SkyNet google reviews (all one stars barring one, which I assumed they paid for). Firstly - order never arrives. This after countless messages saying it's on the way. Never arrives. I give up and go to SkyNet Warehouse myself. They can't even locate the package, and upon returning home I realised one of my items is missing. I proceed to call the (self-entitled) call centre, who say that it is not their issue, the issue is with the the courier and not them. I mean the nerve. (I paid Incredible Connection, no SkyNet. Hence you are contractually obligated to provide me with a service - don't shift blame. This is your partnership with SkyNet, not mine!) Still waiting for answers. To top it off, when I post on their FB page, within 10 minutes it's deleted. I am still waiting for a response! If you want to run your business this way, then you need to apply for a gambling license! This is beyond shocking. EVERYTHING ON THEIR SITE REGARDING SERVICES OFFERED IS A LIE. Circumcisions' at 30 is more pleasant than this whole experience!
