I received vehicle financing through Standard Bank for a brand new vehicle however the bank colluded with the dealership by accepting the registration papers of my vehicle with the incorrect ID number and name (the vehicle is registered under someone else) and I have brought this to the attention of the dealership and the bank and there’s no assistance.
I bought a brand new vehicle from this dealership and the service was not great at all. When I went to pick up my number plates, I was given a copy of the vehicle registration documents, and I instantly noticed that the ID number and name was incorrect. I queried this with the dealership and I was advised tbt Jason Diaz( the sales person) that this would be rectified and it still has not been resolved and when I called the dealership no one is able to provide a solution as they claim Jason is no longer with them
In November 2022, I went to the Ferndale branch and entered into a cellphone contract with Telkom. I had a agreed to a contract for 36 months. In January when my first debit order went off I noticed that the amount was higher than what I agreed to in store. I then went to the Telkom store in Cresta whereby I was shown on their system that the contract I am on is for 24months for a higher monthly payment. I then immediately phone the Ferndale store and spoke to the manager and we then exchanged various emails wherein she said that the error will be rectified. End of February I received my statement indicating that I owe Telkom an amount of over R9000.00 and that is the amount they will be debiting me for March. I immediately contacted billing and they told me about an upgrade on my account which I didn’t authorise. I then contacted the store manager at the Telkom branch who then emailed me and explained that when she was trying to fix the initial error they forgot to waive the carryover fee from my account. She then promised to fix it and that was on the 5th of March. It is now the end of March and I have contacted billing and the error has not been resolved. I do not recommend Telkom. This has been the most terrible experience and I’ve only been using them for 3 months! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible
