Unsafe chairs caused injuries, rude staff ignored complaints, no refund given, poor quality and service, violating consumer rights and customer trust.
I am raising a serious complaint about the poor service I received from HiFi Corp and Tekkie Town. On 30 November 2025, I purchased a Hisense 541L Side-by-Side Fridge online (Order 501190672) with “free nationwide delivery.” On 3 December, I was informed that delivery could not be made to my address and advised to arrange my own transport or request a refund. On 4 December, I submitted all required refund documents to ntshuxeko.chauke@hificorp.co.za , yet I received no acknowledgement or response. I followed up on 5 December, still with no feedback. After logging a complaint, I received a call from the Polokwane branch on 6 December, where the representative was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. She simply repeated the 7–14-day refund period and offered no assistance. When I contacted the call centre again, I was shocked to learn that no refund request had been logged, despite my emails. Only then were tickets #9000458033 and #9000458091 created. At the same time, I experienced unnecessary delays with a Tekkie Town order, with inaccurate communication even after delivery. It has now been six days, and HiFi Corp is still holding R11,000 of my money with no progress. I request urgent processing of my refund by 11 December 2025, or I will escalate further.
Amazing and great customer service
good day, I have been trying to access my grandmothers will and I have not been assisted the agent I spoke to said they cannot access anything or find any record and now I am unable to access the house as I need the will really disappointing. Tyrell Fynn was the agent who was unable to assist me.
I am highly dissapointed in the service received from Old mutual I have a tax free savings account and have been trying to change banking details for months now with no assistance I am always taken pillar to post. I just want to withdraw my money and cancel everything as I am not happy with the service and will never use them again for anything.
