Good day I retired in 2022 and bought a house in Plattekloof Glen as the area was quiet.But in 2025 the owner, 2 doors from me opened a business without my approval. During the day there is some times six vehicles. They started to park in the road in front of the property. I had to inform Law Iinforcement as they were blocking the road .To me it looks like we have no say about our property ,the mafia at the City of Cape Town will decide for us.
On the 24th of November 2025 I did an uOn the 27th on a do On 24th of November 2025 I upgraded to a double deal on line.On the 27th of November 2025 Vodacom phoned me and said that I can upgrade.I informed the gentleman from Vodacom that I did upgrade.He informed me that it was canceled. Why i still don't know.Today on the 28th of November 2025 i am at Cellucity trying to do an upgrade. I have been waiting for an hour for Vodacom to sort this out.This is absolutely poor service.
I recently bought an item from Temu and paid for it from my Absa app.I later received a message that I need to pay the tax.On the 23rd of October 2025 I used my Absa app to pay for the taxes.I got confirmation from Absa that the tax was paid in the amount of R118.54.The company GFS Express reminded that the tax have not been paid and i even complained to Temu. On the 7th of November 2025 I decided to check my bank statement and the transaction did not show. I have argued with the above company and have send them the confirmation that Absa have send. I would like to know from Absa if they can explain this to me.
On the 23 rd of October 2025 I contacted Outsurance as the geyser was tripping the power. I was informed that Fas Trading South Africa will send over the plumbers to sort out my problem. They did sort out the problem as they had to replace the element. They bought the new element from Plumblink and i paid R650.00 co payment. On the 25 th of October 2025 I switched on the geyser and the power tripped again 05:45 .I informed Outsurance regarding my emergency. Fas Trading plumbers was send.They identified the problem as the element that was replaced. They informed their office about the problem and since then I have not heard from them. Looks like i will not have any hot water for the weekend and I have a nine year old that needs to shower and on Monday he has to go to school. I was informed that I have a year warranty on the product. The product have to be replaced but now it seems to be my problem.
I have been without hot water since yesterday (05:45) The plumbers have been to check and found that the element that was replaced by Fas Trading is faulty. Since then I have not seen them or heard from them. I think it is time to get new insurance as Outsurance cannot deliver.
Good day i previously complained about Vodacom when i phone in they say that i am in arrears.I have been to Vodacom in N1 city and i experienced the same issue. I recently upgraded and this month i received a huge bill as, it is a open line although i informed the lady when i upgraded that it must not be an open line.Again the people do not listen when we speak to them then things like this happen. Now I have to wait 3 hours to say that my account is not in arrears and to make the phone number in question a top up. I can say for sure that i am not happy with this service at all.
I decided to see if I can get insurance cheaper at Vodacom. They gave me a quote for R255 whilst Outsurance charge me R307 for my Samsung S24. Firstly they started by they want a proof of purchase while informed the person with the name of Thirosha Govender that it is a contract phone, so all the details will be on their system. I had to phone Vodacom Canal Walk to get a proof of purchase. Luckily the person with name of Jan Hendrik were able to assist. Next the lady complained that my account is in arrears. I did phone Vodacom and then they asked me where did I hear this and informed them when I phoned now this was the first message that I received when I phoned. I informed them that my account is paid at the end of the month. The lady informed me that the account is not in arrears.Seems that Vodacoms administration is in chaos.
I was busy on internet as i received a message from Vodacom that I can upgrade.I checked on Vodacom 's website and saw they advertise the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE 256GB for R599 for 36 months.I went to the shop but it was a different story as it is a 128GB not as advertised. I even received a message on the website that there seems to be a problem with my account .
I have won on the 10th of July 2025 and an amount of R950.00 and requested to withdraw this amount and to be paid into my bank account. On the 15th of July 2025 I phoned them and informed them about the situation. The lady that I spoke to informed me that I will receive an sms within 24 hours and then the money will be paid into my bank account. But thus far I have not received anything. If this is the kind of service that we can expect then I will have to close my account as I am an unhappy customer.
I. Won R950.00 on Hollywood bets on Thursday and are still waiting for the money to show in my account. Disappointed in this bad service.
