My go to vet is Dr Bernice. I take my African grey parrot to her for his avian routine. She is just absolutely exceptional and amazing. She treats all the exotic animals as if it's her own. She goes out of her way to help, if you have any questions. The best exotic vet by far.
In September I took my husband's Tempo watch to American Swiss N1 City to have the strap repaired, as the pins were coming loose and falling out. I showed them that it is more than just one pin, as we placed cellotape around the strap. We waited 4 weeks for the watch to be repaired. When collecting the watch, only one pin was replaced. Within the week, the other pins that were not replaced starting coming loose. Again we took the watch back requesting them to replace the other pins or replace the strap. After 4 weeks, from hearing nothing, we went to enquire about the watch. We were told it will take 2 months. A week later we happen to be at the mall again, and popped in at American Swiss to enquire again. When I showed the lady the reference number she was rude and said that's just for capturing purposes and wanted to know if I got a message to collect the watch. She said she will go look. Low and behold, there the watch was. When opening the packaging, there was a note stating they cannot put a new strap on. The watch is, according to them, too old. So if the strap cannot be replaced, why did not make contact with us, to replace all the faulty pins. There service is pathetic. We are now forced to go to other malls, outside the area that we stay in to have the watch repaired. That is totally unacceptable. Please make sure of after service delivery when purchasing from them.
This is not the first or second bad experience that I have encountered with ABSA N1 City. Today I received an SMS stating that my internet banking has been closed BECAUSE I CLOSED MY COST ACCOUNT. It also says that I need to go visit my nearest branch, with my ID, to rectify the problem. Why must I go through all the trouble, when I didn't cause the problem? This branch of Absa is really becoming problematic.
We noticed a water leak on our property today. We eventually got hold of our insurer, King Price, after trying from 10h00 this morning. We spoke to Victor. We were given a reference nr, as well as the supplier that will attend to the leak. Appointment at about 16h00 today. At 17h00 I contacted the supplier just to be informed that they have not received any instructions from King Price. Nothing reflecting on their system. We are pensioners. Don't have a landline, just a little bit of airtime in the month, but I got told to sort out this mess. King Price is quick to take your monthly installments, or to phone when you skip a month, but when you need their assistance, you must wait. We are without water, cannot shower, cannot cook. Must beg for water in the street. I probably need to pay a fortune on the access for a minor job. This is totally unacceptable. We were referred by family to King Price, but I'm not so sure anymore.
I really thought that these people can help me with my debt, just to discover that they are not paying over my installments. This after I received a very upsetting message from Absa. Emails were send to Naledi on Monday, 13 May, as well as to Naledi and Tyra on 15 May, to explain the situation. Needless to say, I am still waiting for a response from either of them. I will be cancelling my debit order with MiLaw, and rather pay the money directly to Absa.
The lady I dealt with was very professional and explained everything clearly. She's very friendly and helpful.
