Poor service Waiting for my online order from 12 May. No response to emails
Repost as my previous email does not work any longer. Bought new tv end of October from Hifi Corp menlyn. Unboxed it yesterday and tv started giving issues a day later. Did a software update (automatically) and since the tv did not want to switch on. Kept on rebooting Took it back in (which was a mission in itself given the size) where I received terrible service and rude staff. They even give you broken pens to fill in forms and when i asked for another, the staff is extremely rude Also Now I’ve been told it will take 21 days to assess?? Then the next step will be advised. For a tv that worked less than 8hours? No technically trained staff onsite - i am 99% sure it requires a hard reset that’s required and no one can even do that? Very disappointed in Hisense and HiFi corporation
I bever complain on such forums, but DSTv is driving me insane. It is not about the money, it is a principal thing…. From what i can see, DSTv wont even bother to rectify or assist but lets see Long storey short, phoned Multichoice twice before installing an additional decoder. They confirmed that i can go ahead and the additional fees is already included in my package. I went ahead with the installation and now… surprise surprise i am being billed extra. Phone back twice and apparently talked to a line manager, Benjamin, who could not help and then when i asked for a reference number, he put the phone down in my ear. Really considering going legal because this is completely unprofessional. How many people do they catch this way?? Giving incorrect advise and then refuse to assist???
