They don’t even deserve a single star. I bought an A5 diary at Typo Menlyn yesterday. I wanted to personalise it and showed the sales guy the a picture from their website. It came out looking different and he said their machine does not personalise at the bottom like on the picture I showed him. I made him aware that I did not like how it came out and he convinced me that it was okay. Today I call them to explain that I don’t like the diary I would like to exchange/refund. The lady I spoke to blamed me for my diary not coming out the way I wanted, she says I didn’t disclosed but I provided a picture. She said when I chose the colour on the book it shows that the personalisation is not at the bottom. Like hell I know how their machine works. She tried really hard to blame me whereas they did not disclose beforehand that their matching only prints at the top.
A one start rating is better, these people deserve a -0 rating. I bought a bed in 2023, in less than a month the base started making funny noises when you’re turning or sitting on it. I’ve been exchanging the bed ever since, did the funny noises stop? NO. I exchanged about 4 or 5 times and I just ended up giving up and want nothing to do with the shop, it got so exhausting. My bed even cries more now, please save yourself some stress and your money.
I bought a 3 seater couch on June 17th, they told me it will be delivered in 6 weeks. The 6 weeks lapsed and there was zero communication from their side. I had to call and enquire about my order yoh I was told stories about why it wasn’t delivered on time, they had to order fabric to cover the cushions blah blah. The delivery kept on getting postponed, I was promised a Monday after the cusion covers were delivered to them the previous Friday. Come Monday, they tell me it’s not done but Tuesday latest. Come Tuesday they tell me all their delivery trucks are in Western Cape. I was fuming at this point, then my couch gets delivered I think on the Wednesday or Thursday. The couch was beautiful and I was happy that it looked exactly how I imagined it but guess what, in less than a month of having my couch, it started making funny sounds (the planks) when I sit on it, I called them and they fetched it for repairs. I had to call them nd enquire bout the progress as they were not saying anything and it was long gone. It was returned and they promised it is now fine. As I’m writing this review my couch has started with the funny noises. I’m extremely disappointed that this is happening, a 10k couch that’s not even 6 months old. We work so hard for our money to get this low quality furniture, in this economy even. At this point, I do not have the emotional capacity to deal with these people I just want my money back, I’ve had a similar experience with some other bed shop and it was so exhausting and emotionally draining doing so many exchanges and still getting the same results

Don't even bother going to this shop. Their bed bases don't even last a day, they make the loudest noise and gets worse as time goes on. They don't give refund you will exchange the base a million times and it's all the same, its extremely exhausting. They won't even show you their refund policy because they "don't have in store", how crazy is that.
