<div>After having written a review about hellopeter's Review and WinBig competition that is a **** to get people take credit and share their personal information not knowing if it will be sold to third party or not, I got a dishonest response. It read: "The business has rep**** privately, and only Thobeka M can view this message." The latter was accompanied by a hyperlinked: "Why do businesses and reviewers write private replies." in blue. Clicking on the hyperlinked sentence, I was led to just simple information about what private replies are and who can write private replies, etc. (I have screenshot to prove all these responses). I believe this misleading response was done intentionally, to give an impression to the public that I got a response and something is done about my review, when nothing was actually done. I checked my emails and found nothing. The review was written on the 10th of August and the response was on the 11th of August. I searched on my emails and found zilch from hellopeter. Yesterday, the 14th, I received an email with a subject line: "We'd love your feedback" so I rush to see. Only to find I am asked whether I would recommend hellopeter. Really now? Is that all? I go back to my review and I find yet another misleading message, the old one edited to "Hi Thobeka, thanks for your feedback - for further assistance and information, please drop an email to admin@hellopeter.com and our team will be happy to assist... Best." This time around, it has an option for me to respond. Why ask me to drop your admin an email instead of responding here on your platform for everyone to read and understand you? You sent me emails too on the day you edited your response dated the 11 August 2024, why don't you send me an email instead, seeing that you do have my email address? In fact, I took the liberty to check everyone who wrote a bad review about hellopeter and noticed a similar trend. One such a complaint is Mash M's and many others (I have old screenshots and yesterday's screenshots of edited responses for others to prove it). Hellopeter, own up and do the right thing! I bet you will sensor this response too, as Victor T, Sasha K and many others who caught you red handed and were brave to point you out did. You've changed your business model and it's not serving the purpose you pretend it does. Don't worry, well complain about you elsewhere (with proof), unless you admit, ask for an apology and change your ways. If you want to change your business model, don't do it under the old hellopeter banner as that is false pretext. Looking forward to hearing from you.</div>
I always get what I'm looking for at OK Elto Towers and the staff is amazing! They treat you more like family. I was helped by a very patient staff member at the butchery once. I think her name is Jesmine. What a sweet person! I hope this is a reflection of how management and owners treat staff. If that's the case, they are all doing a sterling job. If not, now they know where their value is. Happy staff members will bring good business. Because they will treat customers like their own relatives. Keep it up OK Foods Elto Towers.
Hellopeter's Review and WinBig competition is a ****. After your review, you are led to a page that thanks you for your review and asks how much you want. I mean really? How much do I want? In a competition? But I decide to play along and not be too greedy, for I really don't know what is the use of that question in a possibility to win R20 000. Is this an honest competition or just a way of Hellopeter getting new customers/stores and making business? I ask myself, yet I choose R6000, even though I would've opted for the highest value. Then I'm led to a page that says something about finding out if I'm pre-approved for personalised offers. So this is a way of attracting people desperate for money to look for credit! Tell me, how can that be right? Some people wish to win so they can pay off their debt and be debt free, or work towards their debt freedom. And hellopeter does this. I think I deserve to win this competition just for spotting this but I look forward to hellopeter's response I have a screenshot if hellopeter decides to delete it. I'll post the image elsewhere. NOW SOMETHING MORE, as I plan to publish, additional information needed, which is my personal information. In their explanation, nothing is said about not sharing my personal info with third parties. Yho!!! Hellopeter has turned to something else now. What are you guys going to do with my personal information. Does POPIA mean anything for you? If you want to communicate with me, communicate here. Publicly! And respond so we are all clear. Thanks in advance.
Travelling from Katkop, I buy loads of food for the road from SPAR KHOWA, but when I asked if they have a toilet I could use, the lady responded arrogantly: Asinifuni apha! (We don't want you people here!) I found that quite offensive. I didn't have cash to pay for the toilet next door and had to ask someone to pay for me. However, spending as much as I did at Spar Khowa and be talked to as someone with an infectious and untreatable disease is something that didn't go down well. I'm sure they can do better. Don't take my money if you don't want me! Or if you're convinced I have an infectious disease. Do better Mr Peter and staff.
I reside in Cape Town, and I have spent days trying to reach many building supplying stores in the Eastern Cape both on email and on the phone. After not receiving responses on email, I resorted to calling and have either not gone through, have been cut off or have been made to hang on for hours on end, by many rude and uncouth employees. Not that I was surprised, one gets to expect such customer service from that side of the world. However, I have to say, I was utterly surprised by employees at Build It in Mdantsane and Fort Jackson! Their customer service deserves to be complemented! A very respectful young man, whose name I got to know as Wanda from the Mdantsane branch, answered the call after it had not rung for long. He advised me to send my request for a quotation with all my needs, and gave me a WhatsApp number to contact him in case they experience loadshedding. He kept contact right through, until I had to make a decision to go with Fort Jackson due to cheaper prices here and there and cheaper delivery due to distance. As a result I feel really bad that I won't be buying from Wanda. I will, however, gladly refer anyone close to their store as the prices might be nothing compared to the cost of delivery if one buys from a far off area. Thank you Wanda. I wish you growth and joy in what you do.
I ordered velvet yarn to make special blankies for my 98 year old granny and 90 year old aunt for more than R2300 and on both occasions I ordered, they've outdone themselves. Delivery is prompt, their customer care sterling, Sasha responding to each email and request speedily and most importantly, the quality of their yarn, satisfactory. I can't stop singing their praises every time my ole'ladies receive a complement for their grand blankies. Thanks Skapie and Sasha. You'll certainly see me coming for more.
