I have been traveling overseas for 6 months. During this time Vodacom has charged my account with more than R3000 for bundles (R99 each) that I have not subscribed to. I have made a number of calls to their call centre. Most of the time the operator is incompetent and cannot understand the problem. On the few occasions when she understands the problem, she confirms that I am not subscribed to any bundles and it should not happen, but sadly she cannot fix the problem. Emails to Vodacom are sadly not answered also. WARNING TO OTHER VODACOM SUBSCRIBERS: PLEASE SWITCH TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER BEFORE YOU TRAVEL OVERSEAS AS VODACOM WILL CHEAT YOU. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT VODACOM IS AN UNETHICAL BUSINESS

I have now waited more that two days for Standard Bank to reply to a simple question. All I want to know is how they will calculate the penalty on cancelation of my bond within the 90 day notice period. This is the third bad service experience that I have had with Standard Bank in the past month.
Be very careful to purchase an retirement annuity from Old Mutual. You may lose your money. On 5 Sep 2021 I requested retirement from one of my Retirement Annuities at Old Mutual. The terms of the policy determined that the 15% cash payment will be paid in foreign currency. More than six months has past and Old Mutual has still not made the 15% payment to me. It appears that they just don't have the know how to process this payment. I have opened a case at the Pension Fund adjudicator against Old Mutual and I have even written to their CEO Mr Ian Williamson. But my broker and I don't even get responses from them. Looks like I am going to lose 15% of my retirement annuity. Be aware!

This is a scam. They dont deliver nor answer e-mails Beware!
