NTT Volkswagen MTHATHA This is the worst experience ever, I took my car (Polo TSI Life 1.0 2022) to them for vehicle maintenance and it has been there with them ever since (11/03/2025). The first week my vehicle arrived at that place they told me that it could only be attended to the following week (Monday) which was 17/03/2025 due to many other cars that were there before mine. It was tough to hear but I agreed and left. The next week they said they now attending my car & that all they needed was for my warranty to approve and then they start with my car, 2days later my warranty authorized /approved, so they began with diagnostics & making the orders for car parts. It has now been more than four weeks(1 month) and yet I still haven't received my vehicle. This is unacceptable service and totally despicable customer care every week there is a different story. I am extremely disappointed in VW.
Worst experience ever...I've been awaiting my vehicle for the longest time ever, it has now been almost a month, I 1st came on a Tuesday and they told me that my car would be attended the following week due to many cars being attended to, then there after they said they will order parts and that took almost 2weeks too, now that the parts have arrived they still taking up more time to attend and finish up my car. Another weekend with no Vehicle. NTTVW Mthatha is terrible.
This experience was quite a battle at fist and at a certain point I almost lost my faith in this car rental service. (Dollar Thrifty), until I was then sent and passed on to the management team, I won't lie it was quite challenging to get my holding fee back but Mr Norman Naicker was a great help including the management team and things there after ran much more smoother. It turns out that they really do care about their clients and they really make client complaints a fist priority and for that I would highly recommend them to others out there, for even though there are humps and bumps along the way, you don't loose your money and you be in good hands with great care. management indeed sees to that. Thank you.
I send this message to complain about how poorly things were handled by the Thrifty Mthatha (Airport) branch. On regards to my Vehicle rental services, as I’ve mentioned above that I was terribly inconvenienced and poorly treated by the branch after sales services. I feel that the Mthatha branch has ****mers within them and that they pick pocket clients in this way, for I and the guy whom assessed the car were both present when he was doing an inspection when I arrived with the vehicle. We both checked and agreed that all was well and he went on ticking all boxes on the assessing sheet I provided him, that I was given on Friday night when the vehicle was handed over to me. The next day all of a sudden the guy at the reception calls me and informs me that the car had seem to have a nail punched into the left rare wheel, I mean what a coincidence, they actually seemed to pick the far end tire which they seemingly think that there was no way we checked that tire, I mean why couldn’t they say it was at the font?, it is because they know that the front tires could never had been by passed. And even if they were right, I still don’t understand why am I at fault because when I was there, there were no issues at all with the vehicle, why wait for me to not be around so that they can say they found a fault?, what if it was the guy who drove the car off to park it was the one who drove over a nail?, And why haven’t they sent me any proof? , this is all foul play and it is wrong to do clients this way. I’m very disappointed in this organisation. And there is no one that seems to be able to help me even on my complaint, all everyone does is to just send me back to that branch manager in that Mthatha who’s also probably involved in this despicable ****. I have not yet received a reply ever since and no help at all. Thank you.
