I cancelled my cartrack policy in August 2025, and they were supposed to refund me; i comp**** from my end, and they failed to honor their part. to date i am still waiting for my refund. Nothing has been refunded. With Cartrack, you're only important if you still contract with them, their service sucks to say the list
Good day The ambush from the African bank collection side regarding my overdraft account is unbearable. African bank system is compromised and conflicted. The sad part from the consultant to the supervisors in the collection space is that they are programmed and stereotyped. My account is paid religiously every month with no fail, I wish everyone could call Sandra Jambali at the social media space for African Bank who understands what is happening on my account. May I please ask African Bank to stop calling me for my Overdraft, I'm not in arrears and I was never in arrears. My account is paid monthly before the due date in line with what is quoted on the African bank internet and your What's up chat, but contrary to what comes from call center agents and supervisors. I welcome your call if I am in arrears but not if I am religiously paying my account monthly. This is mainly on the Overdraft loan amount. If you want to understand how this account works, may I please ask you to call Sandra Jambali from your company, she will teach you how this account is conducted. Regards
I changed banks because of the bad service I was getting from African Bank. I had an Overdraft before I changed banks and since I know I am obligated to pay the overdraft off. I immediately wanted to know if the owing amount could be converted to a personal loan so I could pay it off monthly. They couldn’t help me, and they said the matter would have to be referred to IT and AFB management to decide the way forward I was told it would be a long process and I would have to wait for a call back from Sandra Jambani who did and kept me in the loop until Dec 2023. The whole process took 4 months ( Oct- Nov - Dec and Jan 2024 ) and it was resolved on 15/02/2024. Capital disbur*****t was released on 15/02/2024 and the first instalment as per the Internet shows the account is created and there is a minimum and due date I should adhere to. What surprised me was the amount I must pay with immediate effect and with the threats I am getting to be listed if I don’t pay the immediate payment. May I please have clarity on what is expected of me on this overdraft amount? The first payment date is as per the contract. The interest is added to this and the installment is due monthly. May I please have a word with Sandra Jambani from this section I spoke to her when I first escalated this matter via hello-peter query and this is regarding the overdraft repayment, overdue amount, and the copy of this contract.
Good day, All, I used to bank with African 20044934891 and I was given an overdraft, due to the bad service I received, I moved my account to a different bank. I just checked my account online, My account is now handed over without my knowledge Please assist with clarity and why did it happen Regards
Good day, I have been trying to get clarity on my overdraft repayment plan. I am tired of being on the call for hours trying to get your collection department attention to make arrangement. I have the overdraft on my world account, for whatever reason there is a hold placed on my account and I cannot access my account. I called the call centre, and I was online trying to get help on this account to no avail. My experience with AFB is shocking and I don’t want to see myself having to deal with any of the representatives of your company anytime sooner. Lack of production knowledge from AFB consultants is my concern. My question is simple and straight to the point. • I owe you the Overdraft money and I want to pay it off , how do I go about doing that? • My account is blocked, why is it blocked and how do I unblock it? Good day, I logged a call regarding the insurance cancellation request on 13 June and a lady named Madjadji ( mrakhakole@africanbank.co.za ) called me and she promised to sort my issue out and to date, I am still waiting. May I please have the insurance on my credit card canceled, I have since signed the insurance with ZESTLIFE which covers or offers the same benefits as African Bank. Regards
Hi All, I am a frustrated, unhappy customer of African Bank, I regret choosing African Bank as my bank. I have been trying to replace my existing credit card insurance with African Bank since the 5th of May 2023 to date and every time I reach the call centre agent and I have to explain my story and get transferred to the same call centre I was talking to and from the insurance call centre I describe my issue and they transfer me back to the same queue I was on (0861112695) to talk to a different agent from the same call centre. 0861123456 call centre agents tried calling them on my behalf and they couldn’t reach them to confirm that I’m not thumb-sucking my story. Whoever is managing this service centre needs to do better, staff cannot do their stuff and get away with this. Alternatively, I drove to Midrand head office, and I was told I could not see the consultants, there is no face-to-face consultation at African Bank, and the only option available for me to call the call centre at 086 1112695 and wait to talk to the pathetic consultant if I’m lucky. May I please have the insurance on my credit card cancelled immediately, I have the same insurance offering the same benefits for less than R200 per month compared to R1150 I’m being charged by African Bank, for this credit card, as per NCA, I am allowed to substitute the insurance if the benefit is the same or better than the current one.
