Wish I had the option to not give this thieve no star at all. About 3 months ago, we paid Sebastiaan de Plessis from D2 Supply and Diagnostics R50 000 for a Jeep Rubicon engine. And ever since that day, we have had to listen to numerous excuses for non-delivery. Think of an excuse and he came up with it. Sebastiaan was always on his way somewhere and would call us back later. Or he is stuck next to the road with his own car broken. Or the Police Clearance Certificate has not been issued yet. Or that he is now waiting on the courier. Or that the courier is late. Listen to this: "Courier Guy finally turned up but guess what: they dropped the engine and the top is now broken. So we are actively sreaching for another engine." Or, he does not answer our call at all. Or he finally tells us that the engine arrived from somewhere in the Cape and we can send our person to pick it up. Get there, and the real owner of the engine tell us that Sebastiaan paid only R10 000 deposit (about 3 months ago) and even came back at some point to ask if he could get the money back... This guy is unbelievable! I have read numerous other reviews on HelloPeter and the same story goes around. He is a thieve, making all kinds of promises. And the industry he is in, is such an easy one. When a person's vehicle needs parts, you usually bend over backwards to get the cash because keeping your car on the road is an absolute necessity. So for someone like Sebastiaan, who is nothing more or less than a shark, it is a quick money making scheme since he always receives upfront payment and mostly don't deliver. Everyone loose except for the bad guy Sebastiaan who walks away with no empathy while *****ing other people's money. He should be locked up or maybe someone's friendly friends should pay him a visit and take what they can to recover all that he owes.
I am extremely disappointed in the service we got from GP Security, especially during the last 12 months. Our security system was reviewed and received a complete and expensive overhaul about 12 months ago. Most if not all wiring was replaced, and new beams were installed. Inside the house motion detectors were replaced, and the wiring was reviewed and replaced where necessary. We asked for an extra service receiving alerts via telegram and found that we did not always get the notifications in real time. Hence, we had Olarm system installed to arm and disarm our alarm system from anywhere in the world. We also had solar and a battery installed to keep the alarm powered up during load shedding. Every few weeks beams would constantly trigger and 6 months into this exercise we were told the same brand new beams had to be replaced. We thought it was a bit far fetched it agreed since we need the home secured especially when we are not in the area. In April, while we were actually in Leisure Bay on holiday but out to run some errands, a technician let himself into our home without prior notification or permission. GP called me to ask if were were at the house and I confirmed that we were out. I armed the alarm with Olarm and it would immediately be disarmed. Later a gentleman called me back and said that one of their technicians was at the house and they had no idea either. Weird right? The same happened on the 6th of November again and after many attempts to enquire about the circumstances GP failed to give us feedback. At the end of October were had enough of the same beams being triggered all of the time, GP went out, and guess what, they suggested it be replaced - again! 3rd time in a year. Is it due to cheap beams that were installed? Incompetency of technicians? We asked for an independent review of our security system and the company's feedback was that the beams were indeed NOT faulty but only needed fine-tuning. This week we could not access our Olarm system to disarm the alarm and we made the call to send our key holder into the property and disarm from the control panel. Once inside the home, she discovered that the alarm system was without power, and one can only assume that the house would not be secure during load shedding times. The question on my lips here is why was the technician in our home. Why is GP refusing to give us feedback? It is all just a bit strange and even more so since GP security refuses to give us feedback on who the technician was, who the dispatcher was, and why they would not even be aware of the technician being in our home. My opinion here is that GP security cannot be trusted since they have no handle on their technicians and their whereabouts and their communication is the worst. We have gladly decided that we will be moving to a different Security company in Munster and we are looking forward to efficient communication and great service.
I have tried different online platforms for my groceries order and PnP is definitely my favourite. 1. The website is easy to navigate with real-time stock levels indicating when an item is not available anymore. 2. Prices are competitive. 3. Quality products 4. On-time delivery
I ordered supplementary educational books for my kids. The agent I was in contact with, was really helpful. I was able to amend my order and she made great recommendations after a quick assessment of what we want to achieve. Love the books they have on offer and the expertise of the people behind the scenes. In other words excellent customer service!!! Delivery took place within the estimated time with no problems at all. Love the efficiency!
I placed an order with MyRunway and found the app very efficient. It has real-time updates in terms of stock levels which is really helpful. You cannot order an item that is not in stock. Delivery took place within the estimated time frame but unfortunately, the first attempt was unsuccessful. It was rectified within days and still delivered in time. The quality of the items was exactly what I expected. I am placing another order as we speak.
Today marks 6 weeks since I placed an order of 77 items of which only 5 were delivered. I have sent daily emails asking for updates interms of my order and later to cancel the order followed by emails to enquire about my refund. And Makro is absolutely silent. Only promises to get back to me. Listed below are just a few of the persons who send me automated emails asking for either a good rating or patience but no one ever resolved any issues: Sifiso Sibiya, Motshabi Letlhaku, Nthabiseng Kutuka, Precious Motha, Zanele Mabaso, Nwabisa Stuurman, Nthabeleng Tikoe, Rejoice Cass, Brian Koopedi. I received an automated email once a week to inform me that they are receiving more emails than expected and that they will get back to me. But no one ever does. Makro should refund me with interest for each day that I have had to wait for my redundancy since the order was cancelled. And that is how all other delayed fefunds should be treated too. The staff at Makro is a bunch of thrives *****ing the money of customers who willingly allow Makro to take their money and run off with it! Makro owes me around R8000.
It has been 5 weeks now since I placed an order with Makro. I sent numerous emails and made several international calls to enquire about the refund for the items not delivered. Makro never even answered my emails and when I made international calls, I was placed on hold for 15 minutes each time. The only emails I ever receive are those asking me to rate the service I got and the auto reponders telling me that Makro is currently receiving more emails than usual. It has been going on for 5 weeks. It might be time for Makro to employ competent professionals to handle their online shopping department. I always rate then bad, since the issue has not been resolved since the order was placed 5 weeks ago. I ordered a total of 77 items and only 4 items were delivered. I have not received a refund for the undelivered items either. Makro is the worst of all of the online shopping companies in South Africa. The staff in call centres as well as those receiving emails are all reluctant and ***********. How in the world can it take Makro 5 weeks to investigate? Utterly pathetic! Makro should refund me for the total amount plus interest I could have earned in the last 5 weeks.
Makro online shopping and delivery service is definitely the worst in the entire world! It is unreliable, unpredictable, unorganized to say the least. Money was deducted from my bank account within seconds but oh my... keeping to their end of the bargain took them forever. The promised delivery time within 2 - 5 days is well into 12 days now and I am still waiting. I send numerous emails and always just got an auto-reply, I made numerous international calls and was put on hold every time. Communication via their suggested channels (email and call center) is pathetic. Makro app is also not up to speed or real-time. SOme items shows packed and awaiting a courier to pick up but has been delivered. Other items shows it was picked up by courier 7 days ago but still not delivered. The call center personnel is unable to sort any issues out. Typical window dressing. So first you are on hold for 10 - 15 minutes and then you speak with a person who tells you that the issue will be logged and will be attended to in a minimum of 24 hours. 12 days later, and no response from Makro. Only 5 of a total 77 items were delivered. No communication. The issue is always "escalated" but never gets to a point where it really gets attention.
