I would give a zero rating if I could. I have waited patiently whilst watching my 65 year old husband Peter Jackson get taken for a fool by this shady car dealership. My husband purchased a Tata Xenon 2.2 2015 with 92000 on the clock. Whilst driving the bakkie home from the dealership it overheated and blew a head gasket. The dealership collected the vehicle claiming they would repair it. My husband has had possession of the vehicle for 1 month out of 5 months. They have collected it 5 times in 5 months. All this time they have been charging him the premium etc whilst he doesn't have possession. He cannot cancel the deal and they keep giving him the runaround. Please could someone advise me on how to proceed legally because this is affecting us terribly and this dealership doesn't care. Settlement Discount Offer (5898461012161301). I was told by Ayanda Happiness Mbatha, that if I settled in full, I would receive a settlement letter in a week. As soon as she received full settlement, she stopped all communication. I have emailed her, Nedbank and asked for help via the WhatsApp portal. Nothing but ignorance and lies. It is a full month later and there is still no response. Shocking follow up service.
Unfortunately I had to use the 1 star rating. Didn't want to even do that. Terrible experience. I accidentally renewed a license for a sold car. They refused to refund even though I contacted Kaitlyn Naidoo straight away. I then tried to license the correct car and my son's car in my name. After a month of requests and the cost of RR3600, still no delivery of disk, but countless options to pay more, I.e R299 for a report. Waited for ages for that whilst driving without a licence. Takes 48 hours for her to reply and always in a way that doesn't help, or requests for more money. This so called service costs double the actual cost. They are greedy and don't give 2 hoots about customers. Better to just go to the license department. You wait 1 hundredth the time you will wait for customer care at Chatback.
Once I've said my piece about this guy Tim de Beer, I will be copying and pasting this complaint to Hello Peter too. Guys... don't trust this man! He is nothing but a ****** "Ja broer" and a ****** *****! He took R26000 plus off my husband to fix his Tata bakkie. After 2 solid months he finally got his bakkie back with bent valves, timing was out and they stole his turbo and replaced it with some other piece of s****. Also, his crank and rockers were damaged. I've waited a couple of months for the proof from our current mechanic who fixed everything at a further R25000 cost. I would just like to save others from the same crippling experience. We were just blessed and lucky to be able to find the funds to cope.
