Good day, I always saw this adverts on facebook for the shein mystery box, never ordered,but a week ago i took the chance after reading some reviews about people who DID receive their boxes, bought the mystery box (it was said they are trying to get rid of some old stock from last year in their warehouse) you need to pay R58 for the myster box, paid and then recieved another sms saying i must pay R36 for customs clearance, paid. Then suddenly the next day, they debited a R373 from my account, with the SAME reference as per the balances i paid for the mystery box, it appears that they subscribed me to the "SeriaTool" subscription, even received a welcoming email. So the R373 was appeared to be a subscription they got me into, debited from my account WITHOUT my knowledge and consent, never have i subscribed to this or to this day received anything. But, same reference as to when i paid for the myster box. Now they have my account details, and just debit. I had to unsubscribe to this subscription, emailed them for a refund, but nothing or no response. PLEASE BE CAREFUL of these ****mers. Do not know if this is even part of Shein, but people should be aware of this.
I have ordered my package and agreed to a certain amount, so they phoned me one day again and promised this free gifts, on arrival I found that they have charged me for the items, on the invoice they send with the parcel. My installment went from R405 to R970 a month for 12 months. Left it there, about three days ago, they re-send the whole order again, without phoning me or asking me if i am interested in the package again, as I received another invoice for x12 months again, now starting to frustrate me, as it is not affordable to pay that large amount every month, I LOVE the products, don't get me wrong. but, the installment is too high, I did send them a mail asking for my latest statement and to please explain how do they just send a parcel without consent (as it is a lot of money) and even asking if I wanted the same products again. No one has gotten back to me as yet. Parcel is with me, I would have loved to just top-up with some of the products, but not the whole (same) order again. Hopefully someone will see this and get back to me.
Lady Loarraine phoned me, promising to help with the debt. I accepted the debit order, and before it went off, I cancelled with them as I only then read all these bad reviews, so my salary was paid, they still deducted from my account, after I got confirmation it was cancelled and i went to the bank the same day, and it showed cancelled. it still went off from my account. I am struggling for two weeks now to get answers regarding my refund, no success. The lady that helped me, does not even answer me anymore. Just said she did give it through and that there is nothing more she can do. And the call centers just keep on saying that they are waiting for feedback from management regarding the refund. Still no answer and no one comes back to me. Took my bread and butter money as my creditors also went off from my account and they took that debit. Went back to the bank to reverse that debit order, they could not do so, as they blocked them from reversing those debits, and also they change reference numbers after you cancel to still keep the debit order from debiting from your account.
