Placed an order for a book on 30 December 2021 and paid online. Have not heard from the supplier since. Sent them an email on 5 January to confirm if they have received my order and payment, but received no reply. Sent an email to all directors and staff of the company on 10 January to confirm again if my order and payment was received. None of the directors or staff reacted or replied. On the 12th of January another email was sent to all staff and directors and no one still replied. Be careful when visiting their website or placing an order!
It is a sad day when an 80-year old buys a new iPad from the iStore and then ask them to assist in transferring photos from his old iPad to the newly purchased one, and the iStore staff tells the person they are unable to assist as they have no equipment in doing this. The person is then requested to bring his own Apple PC or Laptop to the store and then they will assist. If he does not have one, he should buy one. This amounts to nothing less than extortion and the business practice should be investigated under the unfair business practices act.
<p>On the 12th of June we booked a flight from Durban to Lanseria on Kulula. Having 3 daughters, each wanted to sit next to a window, so naturally, we booked 3 window seats. Arriving at the airport and checking in, the friendly staff looked at our booking and then made a call. After the call she informed us that they would reserve two seats next to two of my daughters who sat in different rows, so that no one would sit next to them.</p> <p> </p> <p>This was a fantastic gesture from the airline and highly appreciated! With a service like this, I wonder why I would ever have to look at flying any other airline again!</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you for taking our children into consideration!</p>
<p>I joined Telkom last year and had my debit order go off my account on the last day of each month, as this is when I receive my income into my account. Everything went fine during the year, until December 2016. For some reason, Telkom debited my account 2 days early. I was penalized by the bank in the amount of R120. Telkom penalized me an amount of R138.28, as there were no funds available. I then paid my account manually, along with the penalties.</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 25th of January, 6 days early, Telkom again run their debit order. Again I am penalized by the bank and Telkom. It seems Telkom is free to run debit orders when they want and making billions of Rands in doing so.</p> <p> </p> <p>I collegue who is working inside a bank told me that the bank is providing Telkom with information when clients do not have money in their accounts. Telkom then runs debit orders. This is nothing but fraud. The matter has been reported to the Public Protector for investigation.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have instructed my bank to block all Telkom debit orders in future. I am also requesting Telkom to stop debiting my account. I will make manual payments.</p> <p> </p> <p>Telkom is increasing my losses by not adhering to the agreement.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is a warning to the public. Never provide your banking detail to companies like Telkom. Rather make manual payments.</p>
On Thursday, 9 April 2015 we decided to watch a 14:45 show in the Prestige Cinema at Cradlestone shopping center. We purchased 6 tickets at R700+.<br> <br> Firstly we arrived at the Cine only to be waiting for minutes at an unattended cafeteria. After we decided to leave and buy something elsewhere, someone pitches up and started serving people. We returned only to find that the Cine does not even have Coke-Cola available.<br> <br> 15 Minutes before the show started, we entered the Prestige Cine, only to find it disgustingly dirty. Popcorn all over the floors and the cups and dirty goods of previous viewers still on the tables. People entered the cine and left again to complain. 5 minutes before the show started two cleaners suddenly rocks up to clean the cine.<br> <br> Paying for a movie, more than R1200, which included drinks and food for a family and finding a Cine in this condition is totally unacceptable. This will be my last visit to such mess. It will rather cost me cheaper to download and watch movies in the comfort, cleanliness and safety of my own home!
