Had pretty good pepperoni-and-rocket pizza. Service at the bar was swift and friendly. Only complaint is the pizza is super thin. Needs more bread, crust, sauce and cheese. I think that they could definitely beat out Pizza Hut if they found a way to make their crust thicker like Roman's. The taste was impeccable, though!
Another free activity in Cape Town though you can find ways to spend your money here. Lovely park to walk an enjoy the scenery. Take your time to read all the display boards and take in all the interesting facts. Beautiful spots inside the park to set up for a birthday party as well and new playgrounds being set up to add to the existing ones. Really well maintained and a must see in Cape Town. A small restuarant for a quick snack or ice cream is there right in the park. The only thing that I could ask for over and above all else is that they find a way to make it safer at night. I did not see any security there when I went out for an evening stroll.
This is one of my favorite places in CT. The bar section is great to have a coffee and watch everything that is happening here (which is a lot). You can just pick whatever you want from the deli section and they make a sandwich out of it for you. And also the premade food is just really good. I came here on a daily basis when I was staying in Green Point.
Ideal location for exploring Cape Town, walking distance from Waterfront. 2 bed apartment was furnished with everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious and free even though I thought that I had to pay. Turns out that you do not need. The prices are only for outsiders. Parking was free and no issues finding space. Pool and gym were lovely, clean and well equipped. Balcony with views of table mountain, but you may not get that in every room.
I have Openweb and have never had any problems with it. My husband and I travel a lot, even going to little hole in the wall towns and have always had service except for some remote spots in between towns. I even had to contact customer service the other day via chat. The wait time was not too bad because the issue was easily fixed but it constantly tells you what place in line you are so you know. They totally solved my problem for me which was just needing to change my apn, nothing major. I had one of their legacy plans but just switched to a mobile data plan with uncapped data and a number. It's still unlimited text, calls and data with an unlimited hot spot. I have never had a problem with texts or phone calls, streaming movies or videos or surfing the internet. I don't know why other people have so many problems. I would definitely say it is worth it. I even went to the US recently and can safely say that I have less problems here than I did in the US. People take the speeds we get in SA for granted seeing how spread out our towns are over here.
I was in CT minding my own business just shopping around when this intoxicating smell jumped into my truck. The second it hit my nose I had flashbacks to my childhood going to Krispy Kreme when the neon sign was lit up letting the entire world know that donuts were hot and fresh....ah the memories. If you're a millennial like me, the boom era of Krispy Kreme was in the early 2000s and they were on every corner where I come from, however there is only a handful here in the Puget sound, so I had to stop! I got the go to standard glaze and it was delicious as ever. The service was fast and good. I also bought the Halloween Scooby Doo donuts and they were fun for the kiddos. They tasted like the normal donuts just really dressed up. Anyway, the service was great and the donuts were delicious as well.
I asked for Rice Krispies Treats rather than a birthday cake this year. Sadly disappointed. Rice Krispies used to be tender and crunchy and a delight when made into the "treats". But this time everyone was complaining about the rice being hard, difficult to chew, and as if stale. Either it was dried out or baked too long or not cooked long enough. And actually seemed tasteless. It was like trying to chew little rock bits. Not a pleasant experience. It was just awful. Made me sorry I asked for them especially for my big day. Won't buy Rice Krispies ever again.
