We visited Nu Metro Gateway Mall on 21 December to watch the Avatar 4DX movie as a family. We bought the tickets at the cinema and paid by credit card. The payment was confirmed on both the card machine and my phone, but the tickets were never printed. Despite showing proof of payment, the Nu Metro Gateway Mall manager refused to let us enter the movie and offered no practical solution. We were left waiting for over 40 minutes while the movie had already started and were eventually told to contact Nu Metro customer service via email. As a result, we missed the movie entirely. What followed afterwards has been even more frustrating. While Nu Metro helpdesk staff have been polite and apologetic, the Nu Metro refund process has turned into an exhausting bureaucratic exercise. I have spent hours emailing back and forth, repeatedly providing proof of payment, bank details, online bank statements, and an official account confirmation letter. Each time, a new requirement is introduced instead of simply correcting a mistake that was clearly caused by Nu Metro. Nu Metro had no problem taking payment immediately, but getting a refund has involved unnecessary red tape and repeated follow-ups. The lack of accountability and the amount of time wasted reflects very poorly on Nu Metro customer service and their internal refund handling. This has been a deeply disappointing experience
- Requested an upgrade and was downgraded instead - No other way to "speak" to them than WhatsApp, spent in total 3 hours with them, being reconnected to other departments, only to be told that they busy or just do not respond at all. This has not been the first time. - Cancelled my service with them (13.03) to be told that I'm stuck with them until End of April and that I will have to return the router (after 5 years of being with them, no address was given where to even return this). - The fact that they trying to make it difficult makes things even worst. - Overall very disappointing they focus more on marketing than their infrastructure and support.

We went today and it was really disappointing for the amount you paying. R120 adults and R100 for kids. There is not really anything to do for adults. The Dino tour took 10 min with a half-hearted guide. The remaining time was spent waiting for a show to start which was quite ok, but that’s because we were the only ones there and the kids were able to participate.

Activities include: Jumping Castle, 2x inflatable Wheels (pool), sandpit where we looked for 3 Dino bones, face painting, drawing, and some carousels (which you have to pay extra for). Wont be recommending this to friends...
