Received two R250 vouchers for Checkers via their partnership with my medical aid. Went to the Muizenberg store.on 11 Jan to use the vouchers. Came to the till and the vouchers would not work, gave some message that the vouchers already burnt but I just got them and knew I did not use them before. They tried several things but nothing worked. The manager there, Jacqueline took my details and promised to log a query with their team and get back to me. It's now 5 Feb and I have heard nothing from either her or Discovery where I got the vouchers from. Discovery just tells me they looking into it but it's been almost a month. I need a refund or a new voucher that actually works sent to me. This has put me off going to Checkers, I never have issues with PandP vouchers.
I'm on Discovery health pathways program. I receive Discovery miles which I usually convert to Checkers vouchers in Discovery mall. Around 10 Jan I converted miles into two R250 checkers vouchers valid for 6 months. I went to Checkers Muizenberg and tried to use the vouchers on 11 Jan. To my surprise they said the vouchers showed already burnt,like it's been used already but I just got them and most definitely did not use them yet. The manager there Jaqueline took down my details, screenshot of the error messages they were getting and promised they would look into it. I also advised Discovery about the issue and received several messages to say it's being looked at. Was asked twice by different people what was the issue and keep having to resend info to Discovery when I gave them all the info in my initial query. It is now 5 Feb already, how long does it take for Discovery to investigate an issue, 1 month? I am tired of following up and beyond annoyed, I was embarrassed with this issue and I am out of pocket by R500 waiting for Discovery to fix their problem. Annoyed at Checkers also for their lack of response to date. Another thing Discovery, your app is useless, you can only play the game board on a Wed and then the system says there is some issue retrieving the data for most of the day, resulting in you losing your gameboard plays, maybe it's deliberate on your side so you don't have to give out the miles. Also the data on your personal health pathways is always out.of sync with the normal site which shows updated MSA balances but not on the.app.
Very unhappy with Miway service, my car was sent to a repair guy in their network, who failed to identify a leak in my radiator and other damage and did a rush job on fixing my car. They now expect me to go back to the same person to fix the issue, who sent me away with a dangerous to drive vehicle. I sent a further complaint, no response from them. No explanations also to the questions I asked about my car. You pay premiums for more than 10 years, but when you need to claim, they want to cut corners and ignore you. Miway clearly does not care about female drivers and their safety.
Stayed at Club Mykonos from 21 to 25 Oct in unit 412. The issue was the noise levels...guests making noise well after 2am. On the third night I called to complain...nothing changed. There were drunken guests walking around, saw 2 security guards patrolling but did nothing to control the noise. The last night we were there I called 3 times between 2am and 4am and the noise just continued. I was staying with my husband and my 2 elderly parents and we just wanted some peace and quiet. I asked guest services to have the manager call me in the morning...no call came. I also emailed them to complain and gave comments on my checkout form. To date no response. It seems they are not interested in their guests at all. I'm disgusted by this total lack of service. If I could rate them minus 5 I would.
Bought floorwiz spintech mop 26 March from Everyshop. Received the mop only to find it faulty. Lodged return...expected them to collect the item...get a call to take it to nearest Verimark for assessment. Take it to the store expecting immediate replacement only to be told Verimark first has to verify details with Everyshop as manager has not dealt with them before...even though he confirmed the item was faulty. Then days later get a call to collect replacement at Verimark store. I advised the person my car is being repaired and later requested them to arrange for delivery as their company policy indicates they collect and deliver where items are faulty. Later get a call to say they will arrange for delivery to me. A week later I have to complain again as nothing recieved. Again being told delivery will be made by the end of this week. How long is this going to carry on? Repeated emails sometimes replied to sometimes not...total disregard to customer
I received my pizza...paid about R170 for a crammed crust where the cheese griller was still raw...the crust not cooked properly. I sent an email to Debonairs to complain...not even a response.
