The fact that their system does not work like it should I could still accept, but their employees feedback and attitude towards complaints are terrible. Sharon should not be allowed to interact with clients, it is definitely not her strong point. I booked a package for Collection from on Thursday the 15th of July, on the system I selected the Overnight option and was thus charged accordingly (R278.85). I phoned 2 days later to follow up on my package as I was expecting delivery the next day. I was informed that the package was only collected the previous day, that is definitely not what I requested or paid for??? I then went onto the system again to do a little exercise, I entered the exact same package and address details, but with the Economy 3-5 day option and got quoted R149.50. So seeing that my package was taking this long anyway, this means I was overcharged by R129.35 which is ridiculous!! Everyone I spoke to tells me there is no Overnight option on this specific route as it is a regional area, yet the system allows one to select the Overnight option!!
Takealot has absolutely no clue what communication or customer service means. My most recent order was rescheduled for delivery 3 times without any form of notification or communication. Their telephone numbers have some silly message and then just drops the call, so no one you can talk to. They couldn't be bothered to reply to any of my attempts to contact them via email or social media (Facebook and Twitter). When they eventually decided to actually deliver my order, then they responded to all my communication attempts, well too little to late, no use in contacting me once I have my order, that is what they should've done when I sent countless messages trying to find out what is going on. Their service is plain rubbish!!!
Everything in this place is great, from the food, to the service and the whole vibe. I would go there any day of the week. The food is brilliant!!!
The owner Martin gives his full attention and assures the best possible job is done. Great company with a great product offering, will recommend them to anyone.
If you want service and your money, DO NOT DEAL with this company.<br> <br> I paid Milty, the owner of the company a deposit of R2000 at the end of November to build me a cabinet... The cupboard was supposed to be delivered within 2 weeks as promised...after a lot of following up from my side (basically never getting any feedback from anyone) and a million stories from these people, at the end of January I told him to rather refund me as I can not wait any longer...<br> <br> So 2 weeks later he finally paid R1000 into my account, promising that the balance would be done the next day, next day I try to follow up but cant get hold of anyone... after struggling another week he finally takes my call and said he will sort it out right away...after about 2 days I again tried to get hold of him and his daughter with no luck, it is now almost a month later and they just put the phone down in my ear or switch it off when I phone...absolutely no business ethics or moral values, this is what I call thieves!!!
I have been with outsurance for about 4years now, NEVER have they had any issues with me, no claims, no problems. I was told the day I sign up that when I turn 25 my premium would be lowered as I am a lower risk, infact since I turned 25 my premium has gone up from R976 to R1300 in a space of 3 months, when I phoned to dispute this, I was told that nothing can be done and that is it. After all these years with me not costing them a single cent, absolutely pathetic if you ask me.... THANKS FOR NOTHING OUTSURANCE!!!!
