Iam writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the way Absa Bank handled my recent card ***** claim. Your decision to decline my claim on the basis that “my card was used for the transaction” is unacceptable, illogical, and shows a complete disregard for your customer’s safety and financial security. To be absolutely clear: • I never lost my card. • I never gave my card or card details to anyone. • I am based in Pretoria, yet the *****ulent transaction occurred in Durban — a place I was not in, and have no connection to. Instead of investigating this properly, Absa simply pushed the responsibility back onto me, as if I authorised a transaction hundreds of kilometres away. This is irresponsible and highly disappointing for a bank that claims to protect its customers. What makes this even worse is the timeframe. It took Absa over 32 days to provide feedback — far beyond the reasonable waiting period for a ***** investigation. After such an unreasonable delay, the least I expected was a thorough investigation and a fair outcome. Instead, I received a baseless decline that completely disregards the facts. Your handling of this matter shows a lack of urgency, accountability, and respect for your customers. I trusted Absa with my money and my security, and you have failed me on both. I demand that this claim be reopened and properly investigated, including location verification, device check, transaction analysis, and any CCTV or merchant-side verification available. I will not accept being held liable for a transaction I did not perform. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will not hesitate to escalate it to the Banking Ombudsman and consider moving my accounts to a bank that takes ***** seriously. I expect immediate feedback.
Bought car at their Boksburg branch. I noticed the trye had a problem when I was driving from the dealership to home I reported it to the salesman and the manager. Was told to send the pictures and the invoice as I ended buying a new run flat tyre for R3500. It was back and forth till the manager stopped taking my calls.
They staff is very friendly and customer centric. They explained in detail the service that was carried out. I was given a R500 discount through their partnership with KingPrice insurance. My car came very clean and it felt like I was driving it for the first time. They are better than most of the car dealerships service center I have been too. Without a doubt they deserve a 5 star rating
I’m writing this to express my disappointment about your service. I bought a BMW at your Boksburg branch in Feb this year. Upon taking delivery of the vehicle I saw a warning about a tyre pressure and stopped at the garage to pump the tyre. You we’re already closed for me go back. On the following morning the tyre was flat again. I informed Jaco, the salesman that assisted me when I bought the vehicle. I went to Supa Quick and they saw that the tyre was patched and I they advised that the tyre can’t be repaired as it would be dangerous to do so. They also noted that both front tyre expired including the patched one. I paid R7000 for two new tyres. I spoke with the salesman and he promised to escalate the matter to his manager (Gary). The manager refused to refund me at least for one tyre. I have been sending countless emails to him. At first he asked me to send photos and invoice which I did and when I made a follow up with emails he did not respond. I also called him and he promised to look into the matter. He never got back to me. I’m so disappointed by your service 😡😡😡😡
