I am absolutely disappointed and disgusted at how this jewellery store deals with cancellations, when I initially went into the store to purchase my stuff, I did so on lay buy terms and I kept to the agreement as per the company policy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful when I went in to buy my stuff. But once I went in to cancel my purchase and lay buy the same lady that assisted me was absolutely degrading and snarky in her attitude and expression, this absolutely shocked me because browns as we know it was SUPPOSED to be a good store to shop at, but after this experience I will NEVER RECOMMEND them to anyone. The lady told me that these was a 15% cancellation which I agreed to pay, and when I asked when I would receive the balance of the cash she said she does not know and I would have to wait for them to contact me and tell me when u would be paid out, I did this cancellation on Monday the 11 August 2025 at around 10:00 and it’s now the 14 August and I still haven’t received any word from this horrible company as to when I would be paid out. They are so quick and good with customer service you are there to purchase something but when you are there to cancel your stuff they act like they are better than you and treat you with absolute disgust, this is by far the worse jewellery store I have ever shopped at, and I’ve shopped at a lot of jewellery stores over the years, this is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting behaviour from Browns jewellers at Cradlestone mall in Gauteng Johannesburg.
So I contacted this unprofessional company to find out how much they will offer for my new lounge suite that hasn’t been used because we bought two, not only did they read the message and not answer, I also had to beg them to reply and when they did reply they spoke to me with sin an attitude and so much to sarcasm, they offered me R800 as an insult for my stuff. You know I understand if you don’t want to purchase something from someone and that is absolutely fine because we all have different taste but to be so rude and mock me but offering me R800 for something I paid R26,000 for, and I wasn’t even asking for that much all wanted was to know if they were interested because the internet said they are the best, but that was such a lie, this company is an absolute joke and I urge anyone who has stuff to sell NEVER EVER EVER go to this company because they will only make you a fool like they did with me. It’s so sad to see so many people in a company act to horrible towards a potential client/customer, this company should be closed due to its unprofessional manner of chatting to clients and to make things worse it was their WhatsApp line that answered me like that, I mean can you even be so brave to do that to someone you don’t know who could possibly be one the greatest clients your company could ever have, I could of been that client. It’s sad to say but this company won’t last long due To its employees and the was they act, imagine people lower than you acting as if you owe them something lol this has to be a joke, no one should support this company
Pep home at cradlestone mall is the worse store to ever shop at, the staff are rude, arrogant and down right terrible. They have this thing that they do where if they don’t like you they will work as slow and snails with the customer in front of you just so that you can get tired of waiting and leave the shop without your purchase. The cashiers and absolute horrible and should all be fired, it’s amazing how such a big store in such a big mall could display such dirty, horrible service. I urge everyone reading this to never shop at pep home at the Cradlestone mall.
I just called city power and I had the worse experience I’ve ever had. This down right stupid, half minded African lady took my call and spoke so rudely to me I was actually shocked. I called to query about my electricity bill and she was absolutely, shocking rude. She actually cut the call on me, I am amazed at how city power of Johannesburg do they job. This using the first rude experience I’ve had, this lady was so rude Isaac to did if I knew who she was so would beat the hell out of her that is how she upset me with her redness. How the hell can we solve anything if we have such stupid people trying to help us, how is anything going to be right if you employ people off the street to do an educated persons job. City power is the worse I have even seen in my darn life and I URGE EVERYONE READING THIS TO NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER EVER GET PREPAID ELECTRICITY METERS. This is the worse I’ve even been through and you guys will suffer the same. City power shouldn’t even be in Bussiness with how bad they are at their jobs.
The Game store at the clear water mall is the worse store to even deal with. So I just called them because I urgently needed some information on an office desk, not only did they take forever to answer the call but then the did answer they put me through to another department that deals with those office desks, ans that department kept me in hold for over 10 mins until they eventually cut the call, then when I called back they allowed the phone to ring until it said the request number is not available. How can you people have staff like this working in your store, we are paying customers. It is because of us supporting your store that you are still in Bussiness, no matter the amount spent, but you have such HORRIBLE STAFF WITH SUCH DISGUSTING CLIENT SERVICE MANNERS. Someone who is in need of something is calling and you actually don’t answer the call. Is there no designated receptionist or phone persons who can answer, is there no moral and values as to how your TERRIBLE STORE treats clients. I will NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE SUPPORT THIS STORE, I am absolutely disgusted at the service. And mind you I work in the service industry and my husband teachers and lecturers about business ethics. This store us by far the worse, the store management team should be ashamed of the job they’ve done with the staff.
The worse online site to ever buy from. I placed and order which was said to be delivered today, Wednesday 19 February 2025 that is what the email said. It’s now almost 8:00 and I still have received my stuff, and what’s make this worse is Takealot encouraged me to take the Takealot more delivery package which is R100 a month for free deliver when I order, and me being silly I listen to them and took that package and now the stuff that I ordered for my BUSSINESS IS LATE, I bought it because I need it for tomorrow the 20 February 2025 and now it’s not here which means I am going to lose a client that was going to pay R500 for her nails. Takealot is the worse site to use and this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems to them. About two weeks back I had issues with my stuff being damaged and them not wanting to do a full refund, eventually after much trouble they decided to do a full refund. And now I am having issues again, you guys need to be more aware of your orders, you can’t be this stupid to promise a delivery date and not deliver the stuff. If you’re going to have issues or know that it will take time to get the stuff then don’t promise next day delivery like idiots. I mean come on now common sense will tell you that.
I have been contacted by the store manager Renier and he was absolutely helpful and understanding and made sure that he solved the problem. This is what customer service looks like, they made me choose the meat they even cut, cleaned and packed it infront of me. I am once again very happy
Last week I bought an item from Takealot and when it came it didn’t work as advertised by Takealot, so I returned it to the company fully expecting the FULL AMOUNT to be credited back to me. Today I received an email stating that they are only refunding the cost of the item, I am absolutely shocked and appalled by this horrible display for customer service, if I sell something to a client and she returns it due to it not being up to standard how can I then CHARGE THE CLIENT for delivering that DAMAGE product back to me. What kind of client service is that where you charge a client to deliver the damaged product back to you, this is a lot of stupidity and ignorance for such a big company like Takealot to have I mean you guys were supposed to know better, that you can’t change a client a fee if the fault is on you side that’s just COMMONE SENCE. This behaviour is the worse I have ever seen and I RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE USE THIS ONLINE SHOPPING SITE BECAUSE THEY EVIDENTLY ROB AND ***** FROM CLIENTS. Takealot need to hire a new customer service team because they are lacking in many ways. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND I SAY SIES TO THIS COMPANY FIR *****ING FROM CLIENTS BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT IS CALLED.
I am absolutely disturbed by my discovery today. So as usual I buy all of my meat and groceries from food*****s market in hillfox Johannesburg, and today when I took out a parcel of meat to cook I found a shocking amount of fly eggs on my meat. This is absolutely disgusting and disturbing because as it stands my Husban and I have health issues and if we did eat this we could of died, I was advised by my legal advisor to repot this to the health association and I absolutely will as. Do have pictures of what I going. How can you people sell stuff like that, how can you not make sure your guilty inspection is 100%, and once again I took pictures of the meat as proof of what I found. TERRIFIED AND SHOCKED ISNT THE WORD FOR HOW I FEEL TOWARDS THIS DISGUSTING SITUATION.
So from the last review I’ve written I’ve been helped tremendously by a lady ANDRI OLIVIER and I am now absolutely happy with the service I’ve received from her and her promptness with my complaint. And her response towards helping was definitely something to rave about she bade sure I received my stuff on time and in great condition and the that I would like to thank specifically and only her ANDRI OLIVIER because she seems to have the correct work ethic and client service. Once again i am very happy with my stuff and the service I’ve received from her
