I bought a Sealy mattress at Ted's home store in Umhlanga on the 17th of May 2024 and within a period of 10 months the springs are making noise every time when I'm sitting on top of the bed or whenever I'm turning at night. Even when my 11 months baby is turning I loose my sleep. I lodged a complaints with the stores department and Natasha said I must send videos of myself lying on the mattress when it's on the floor. I sent the videos on the 17th of March including the one where I was putting it back on the base and it was making noise as I was lifting it. She has been ignoring my emails and WhatsApp since the day I sent those videos. Ai also sent the invoices as requested by Natasha.
I bought the Sealy queen mattress for R5000 on the 17th of May 2023 at Ted's Umhlanga and now I'm having sleepless nights because it's making a disturbing noise from the springs. It makes noise even when my 11 year old daughter is turning. I sent the emails and WhatsApp to Natasha from the complaints department and she asked me to attach videos of myself sleeping on that mattress while it's on the floor. I sent the videos including the ones of my baby so she can see the seriousness of the noise. I even took another video putting the mattress back on the video and she's been ignoring since the day I sent those videos and that was on the 17th of March 2025. I went to the store several times to report to the sales man Moses who assisting me when I went to purchase the mattress and he told me he called the sales department and asked them to contact me but noone has made contact with me. I have been taken for a ride by both Natasha and Moses. There's no way a R5000 mattress can make squeaky noise within a period of 10 months.
