Terrible experience thus far. Never had a good connection. Halfway through a month we would have no service at all for a few days. We have a 60Mb/s line and even upgraded to a higher package. After that they insisted we upgrade our router. We still have the same issues with a little extra. They have double billed us this month and even though we have already sent them the proof of payment the people at the call centre still insists that the payment does not reflect even when we sent them the proof of payment. 11/04/2025 I contacted IPDA for some clarity seeing as I pay my debt review monthly into their account and they have to distribute my funds, the first two times I was patched through to Nadia/Natasha who kept dropping my call, finally another lady took my call and she was just as unhelpful (didn't get her name poor thing had flu). Basically the past two months my funds were not distributed accordingly, my debt counsellor's phones have been disconnected and I wanted to know why. The lady blatantly told me there is nothing they can do I will need to contact NCR for assistance. So I am asking why on earth do I have a debt counsellor and pay into IPDA's account but have to get assistance from the NCR? What is the purpose then?? Feels like I'm being ****** here. I don't want to get blacklisted after I worked my butt off to settle my accounts.
I closed my Hollywoodbets account around 17 October 2024. I accidently deposited R500.00 into the account on 23 October 2024. I have requested that they refund my money and after sending all my details and talking to about 30 different people, I got a response that I need to call my bank to reverse the funds, which will never happen since it was done three months ago already. Just absolute terrible experience. They are not helpful as long as they can pocket some money I guess
If I could give zero stars I would. Their credit department has been harassing me these past few weeks. I had a revolving credit facility with Capitec and due to financial constraints, I could not afford the monthly premium and turned to debt review. I have a court authorized document, stating that I am under debt review and the premium I am paying monthly. Now all of a sudden I am receiving calls at work demanding payment. I called my debt review counsellor which in turn called Capitec and they sent us a statement of my account which reflects that I am still under debt review with them and that my account is up to date. So now my question is, is the credit department at Capitec ***********?? Or am I being ****med?? And if I am being ****med, how does the ****mers know the exact amount that is due on my account. So has Capitec then leaked my personal information?? I have told them they can be held liable for harassment, breach of contract and even breach of POPI act. But the calls will not stop!!!!!
