My credit card expired in May 2024 and to date I have had to order a replacement card on 4 occasions and the card has never been received by myself. On a 4 occasions Standard Bank charged me R170 for issuing a new card. How can Standard Bank make me pay R170 per card and yet I have not received a single one. 3 of those where meant to be delivered and where not and one was for branch collection where they failed to notify the card has arrived. Standard bank is a **** and as soon as my vehicle finance is paid off I will leave this **** of a company. Do not use standard bank, they will take your hard earned money for services thety fail to deliver.
I am claiming as a 3rd party and Lombard sent me settlement offer on 23 June, which I accepted and sent back the same day. 2 days later and they act in bad faith, which in my opinion is a breach of SAIA code of conduct. Lombard do not want to fulfill the 1st legally binding offer and are trying to rescind the offer and have me take a lesser amount. As they acted in bad faith how can I possibly trust the won't do the same thing with the 2nd offer. I was told they would pay 1st offer in 5 days and today is day 5, still waiting for payment. I have emailed Lombard twice and received no response.
My vehicle was involved in an accident that damaged be don't and shattered rear windshield. This occurred on a Friday. Today is Thursday one week later and Santam have so far failed to advise which panel beater I can take my vehicle to for a quotation. Clearly they are not Insurance God and proper like they claim.
I made an online appointment for Medicross Westring to see Dr Theo Smith for tooth pain on 17 Jan 2024 at 09:45, the appointment was made onn09 Jan 2024. The online system confirmed appointment for 09:30 before later randomly changing it to 08:30 and then sensing an sms saying both are canceled. I called the Dr offices and they confirmed time of 09:45. Today I get sms saying time has changed again to 08:30 so I called the offices and the staff said it is 08:30. I explained appointment was made a week ago for 09:45 and confirmed with staff, the lady said I can only make another appointment for 30 January and they can't help me. I expect the practice to honor the appointment of 09:45 as they cannot change it a day before as I cannot make it at 08:30. The lady at the offices did not care and I requested Dr Theo Smith to call me back. Appauling service from the medicross staff in Westring at Dr Smiths offices, at least have some integrity and honor your appointments.
Poor service and poor systems, overall poor medical aid that does not care about its members. For me to access my benefits I need to complete and online assessment via their app or website. Every year neither the app or website work, I am either not recognized as a member, or their system does.not allow password resets or their system.does not allow me to complete the onljne assessment for my benefits to be accessed. Funny how they quickly take tour money and then make it almost impossible to access benefits due to their faulty systems. They have never once responded to an email, their whatsapp is not better as it constantly kicks the user back to the home menu and the issues are never resolved. Their call centre agents are close to useless and have no useful experience to actually assist their members. Possibly the worst medical aid in the country and one of the worst in terms of customer service in my experience. They take tame take your money and make it impossible to use your benefits. If only there was a way.to force them to make their systems works and actually help members. This needs investigating.
