Phumla Phewa @Pavilion Mall, Sportscene
During my visit to the Sportscene I was assisted by a woman Phumla Phewa @Sportscene, Pavilion Mall, whose service was exceptional from start to finish. she patiently and clearly explained the different services as a new account holder, helping me understand my options with ease. She was incredibly helpful, warm, and loving in her approach, making me feel genuinely welcomed and valued.

Exceptional Service offered by Kerisha Narainpersath @Nespresso, Gateway Mall
During my visit to the Nespresso store, I was assisted by a young woman (Kerisha Narainpersath @Nespresso, Gateway Mall) whose service was exceptional from start to finish. After I shared that I wanted to buy a coffee machine for my birthday, she patiently and clearly explained the different products, helping me understand my options with ease. She was incredibly helpful, warm, and loving in her approach, making me feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Her positive energy and dedication turned my visit into a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.

Gugu & Nedbank @Pinetown, Pinecrest Center.
This is a review of a member called Gugu at KZN, Pinetown, Pinecrest Centre, NedBank Branch, who helped me to open a first time bank account (24/10/2024). The day before, I had encountered an error a multiple times on the app just prior to finishing the registration process. I wanted to open an online bank account. Unfortunately, at the end of the registration it redirected with the instruction to go to the branch. I went to the Pinecrest Center at Pinetown, to the Nedbank branch, for the assistance, where I patiently waited at their lounge area. I met Gugu and told her about my problem. Through the process we both encountered some issues with registering in the computer and also outside at the Nedbank machine too. She was so patients, kept the mood uplifted. Through all phases of trying to open an account from the Computer, my phone and the external machine, she kept the engagement going through conversation, laugher and smile all the way through. I didn't even feel like I have been there for quit sometime or even become impatient because she knew how to keep the atmosphere enjoyable. It was my first time knowing her, but it felt like I was having a coffee drink with a long lost friend. Honestly, I just enjoyed every part of the process. So, I would like to give her; uGugu, a huge appreciation and to Nedbank for even hiring her. She welcomed me with a loving heart. She was so kind, calm and patient with me. I felt at home and comfortable, like I have been with the bank my entire life. I am definitely telling my colleagues about the service I received. Its something I have never experienced with customer service before. Majority of people who work in offices from my experienced have approached me with a bad mood. Like they always do with other people top (based on my friends experience too) I have never received such an excellent service, even from another bank. I have been to multiple commercial areas; offices, headquarters and even retail shops. But this was a stamp to me I thought I should do a review. I am an introvert, and do not like talking to people anymore because a lot of them come to work with personal problems to work, they seem impatient, get irritated easily sometimes, they do not adhere and follow customer service like they signed up too. Sometimes they do not even respond in a good tone when you talk to them . Gugu was phenomenal. Never thought I would have a smile and a bit of a laugh with a bank consultant. It is unusual... Gugu mostly and Nedbank; Thank you. You made my day!!

ST JOHNS CENTRE - CHECKERS (PINETOWN): FOREIGN GROUND COFFEE; DISSAPPOINTMENT!!
So today @07/01/2024, I bought Cafe Latte @Checkers (Foreign Ground Single Origin Coffee), St Johns, Pinetown. Usually, before I used to buy one @Vryheid Checkers, then I moved to Durban. So my first morning there I decide to buy one @St Johns Checkers and it I swear to to God it was like I am drinking milk only, VERY DISSAPPOINTING!!!. I let it slide cause I thought maybe the sister who made one made it weak. I bought again one (served by a different sister) the second time a few days later, and I flipped and decided not to buy one. I changed the Cafe and bought it @Spar, Sandy Centre, ***ies Hill Park, Pinetown, it was strong and had the same taste just like the one @N2, Shell Garage Express Spar (IMPRESSED!!!). Today (07/01/2024), I decided to go back, apparently Spar @Sandy Centre does not serve Coffee on Sundays. AGAIN!!, me thinking maybe giving Checkers a third chance (after the opportunity has opened), thinking things have changed, I bought the usual, IT TASTED LIKE MILK, NOT A CAFE LATTE. I must say that I am disappointed in Checkers. Can you believe that my day was ruined, I had to buy the sachet Classic Nestle Coffee and pour it in my weak tasteless Latte to make it strong. Every morning I drive past by St Johns Checkers, which is 3km away from Spar, just for Coffee. CHECKERS, I AM DISSAPPOINTED. EVERY FIRST SIP FEELS LIKE I THREW MY CASH INTO THE BIN. At some point when I crave for coffee when I am @Checkers for groceries, the point of thinking of driving to spar for another 3km kills me. What a ruined Sunday.
