Subject: Unacceptable and Prolonged Power Outages – Immediate Intervention Required I write this complaint out of sheer frustration and exhaustion after enduring what can only be described as persistent and unacceptable power outages in our area over the past three months. By conservative calculation, our suburb has experienced cumulative power interruptions equivalent to almost ten (10) full days during this period. Most alarmingly, we were once left without electricity for five consecutive days. Five days. This is not an inconvenience — it is a failure of service. As a direct result, all the meat and perishable goods in my freezers defrosted, with some going off completely. This represents real financial loss, not theoretical inconvenience. I ask plainly: Was this load shedding, or was it a fault? Because if this is load shedding, it bears no resemblance to any published schedule, and if it is a fault, then one must ask how a fault can persist for days on end in a major metropolitan area. What is deeply troubling is that one specific area of the city appears to be disproportionately affected, while other areas continue with relative stability. How does this happen in a city that claims progress, parity, and infrastructure resilience? The situation has now begun to actively undermine our livelihoods. My wife works from home, and due to the unpredictability and frequency of these outages, this has become virtually impossible. Reliable electricity is no longer a luxury — it is a basic requirement for modern work, education, and dignity. Engaging with customer support has been equally disheartening. Calls are met with hold times approaching an hour, and when one finally gets through, the response is often vague: “It’s a fault and it’s being attended to.” Attended to for days? With no updates, no timelines, and no accountability? I urge the responsible officials and engineers to place themselves in the position of affected residents. No one would tolerate this level of uncer*****y, loss, and disruption in their own homes. To the Honorable Minister: I recently noted the published statistics highlighting improvements in load shedding and overall system performance. While progress is welcomed and acknowledged, I must ask — did those statistics include our area? Or are we simply the unlucky footnote in an otherwise optimistic report? Progress cannot mean advancement for some while others are quietly left behind. This complaint is a direct appeal for decisive intervention. These issues require permanent, structural resolution, not repeated temporary fixes and generic call-centre assurances. We deserve: Clear communication Accurate classification of outages Reasonable response times And above all, reliable electricity I trust this matter will be escalated and addressed with the seriousness it warrants. Continued silence or inaction will only reinforce the perception that certain communities are expected to endure what others would never accept. I look forward to a formal response and a concrete plan of action.
How can they fail to do basic forecasting? We been sitting here for about 15 minutes in the drive through queue then one of the staff comes out to tell us there will be a further 5 minute delay on the chicken. Guys if the person who owns this franchise does not want to run it properly please close it instead of subjecting us to this poor substandard service. Employ enough staff to run your joint please. This is bad bad service.
I am writing to caution prospective investors about my experience with Mr. Nkululeko Ngobese (also known as “Brain” Ngobese), who — to my knowledge — presents himself now as a Director of Inzalo Capital. We were on friendly terms when he proposed assisting me with stock trading. On the strength of his claimed expertise, we set up trading access (including an FTMO account and VPN so he could trade on my behalf). I paid approximately R7,000 to initiate the arrangement, with the understanding that results would begin to materialize within about three months or so. Regrettably, after I paid, his tone changed markedly. Communication deteriorated and my messages went unanswered for extended periods. When I eventually expressed my frustration, his reply was dismissive and laced with profanity. He returned my laptop and undertook to refund my money; instead, he subsequently blocked me across all channels. To date, I have not been repaid. I am deeply disappointed — not only by the unprofessional conduct but by the breach of trust. This review reflects my personal experience and is shared in the public interest so others can exercise caution. If you are considering any investment engagement, please insist on proper written agreements, verifiable credentials, regulated trading arrangements, and keep strict control over your funds and devices. Resolution sought: Immediate refund of the full amount paid (R7,000) and a written apology. I am available to provide timestamps and supporting correspondence to the platform or relevant authorities if required. Prospective investors: please think carefully before proceeding with Mr. Ngobese on any investment or trading arrangement. A seriously disappointed former client and friend.
I am writing to express my deep frustration with the treatment I received during my recent visit to the Evergreens store in Kempton Park. On my visit, I withdrew R2000 in R200 notes for my shopping. At the register, instead of a straightforward transaction, the clerk checked the notes and called in two managers without addressing me. One manager, with his back to me, dismissively stated, “No, the note is no good; don’t accept it.” This left me feeling bewildered and disrespected. When I inquired about the issue, the clerk explained that one note allegedly had dye ink. I could see nothing wrong, but I comp**** and exchanged it, while also asking her to check my other notes, which thankfully were deemed acceptable. However, her laughter when I explained the origin of the notes made me feel belittled and treated like a ********. Such conduct is unacceptable and contrary to a customer-centric service ethos. This experience has tarnished my view of Evergreens, and I am now reconsidering my future patronage. I can choose to shop where I am treated with respect. I managed to restrain myself from causing a scene, but I urge you to take this complaint seriously to prevent further incidents of this nature.
