I purchased an item on takelot using my discovery miles. The amount was deducted from my miles account but the order was never actually placed. I contacted discovery and was told that they could do nothing for me until the matter was investigated which could take up to 5 working days. After this time my miles would be refunded. This does not help me at all as I was purchasing the item for a gift and now I cannot get it because discovery is incapable of reversing or completing the simple transaction. I have contacted takealot and they still have the item for me but I cannot get it now because discovery is unable to assist me in any way. Totally pathetic service from discovery.
On Thursday 26 October 2017 I was at mygym wanting to use the Smith Machine. Two other members had been occupying the machine for at least 15 minutes. When I asked them how many sets they had left I was told 16! I asked a staff member if this was allowed and when he requested for these two members to move on to give others a chance they told him they now had 24 sets left. Later I asked these two members how many sets they now had left and they told me "we would talk about it later" - which was clearly meant as a threat. I took a photo of the two members and posted it on their Facebook page. It was removed and I again reported this whole incident and mygym has decided to do absolutely nothing about it.
<p>My fiancee and I have opened a wedding registry at the @Home store in Eastgate mall.</p> <p>We wanted to add some more items to our registry at the Bedford centre store on 04/12/2016.</p> <p>We had to walk around the store asking for someone to please assist us. The staff seemed uninterested and really took their time to assist after spending 10 minutes deliberating whose responsibility it was to help us.</p> <p>After waiting a further 20 minutes we were told that the one scanner was "frozen" and the only other one in the store was not charged. </p> <p>We were then told we should rather go to the Eastgate store. </p> <p>The general attitude of the staff was appaling an the level of service basically non existent.</p>
<p>My fiancee and I would like to open a wedding registry at Loads of Living. </p> <p>My fiancee went to the Sandton City store last week but unfortuantley the scanners were not working so she couldn't add anything.</p> <p>We then visited the Bedford Centre store on 04/12/2016 and once again the scanners were not working so we could not open a regsitry.</p> <p>Other stores allow you to add items online but not Loads of Living.</p> <p>This is really frustrating, please let me know when your scanners will be working so that we can finally open our registry.</p>
<p>I bought a gas braai from pick n pay Norwood on 02/07/2016. Mandla who assisted me with the sale proceeded to tell me that I, without doubt, needed a 9kg gas cylinder with the braai as that is the only one that would work. I still asked more than once if he was sure that I didn't need a 3/5kg cadac gas cylinder as the braai is a cadac branded one and I was concerned that the connection may not be correct. Mandla assured me that I must buy the 9kg cylinder that was "on special" for R699. I saw 9kg gas cylinders at Makro yesterday for R599...</p> <p>So now I have my awesome new gas braai but cannot use it because the connection does not fit a 9kg cylinder, I only discovered this after filling my new R699 9kg gas cylinder with gas for R195.</p> <p>Rudy from pick n pay Norwood is trying to get me the correct connection and has assured me he will get back to me by COB today.</p> <p>I am really disappointed in Mandla for his blatant dishonesty and I do hope that he is repremanded for casuing such inconvenience to me.</p>
I submitted a claim with onepet and paid for it using the debit/credit card that they provide as part of the cover. However I have now received numerous SMS's and emails stating that I have an outstanding balance. I submitted the proof of payment as well as my pets microchip numbers (more than once!!) as requested by onepet yet this issue has still not been resolved. I have spent hours on the phone with onepet trying to resolve this but still nothing has changed. Absolutely useless customer service.
