Excellent service and quality
We ordered 100 day old broiler chicks last week. The service was swift, professional and friendly. Received our order today. Again very friendly staff and the chicks are strong and healthy. No dead chicks in the box Very impressed with the quality. Highly recommend.

Great service, but slow delivery
Takelot has very good service. Product received was in excellent order. But they could do with using another courier. Delivery is very slow.

A bit slow
I waited a while (2 weeks) since courier collected parcel at supplier, to arrive. And then it was dropped at our local co-op and not at our given adress. Though I do understand our location is remote, maybe they could subcontract with other couriers who visit our area more frequently to deliver parcels at a faster rate. Package was not damaged and in perfect condition, so they take really good care of parcels, so that is a huge plus.

Beware, apply caution
This business is not registered as an accredited poultry supplier. Before doing business with any online poultry service, first check with South African Poultry Association(SAPA) if the business is legit. This will prevent you from losing money like so many others did. This is an increasing online endevour where people pay for poultry and never get what they paid for. Beware.

This business is not registered as a legitimate poultry supplier. Consult South African Poultry Association(SAPA) for legitimate businesses in poultry and prevent yourselves from losing money. Do not be fooled by these poultry websites. They accept your money and never deliver. This is a new activity that is emerging on the internet. Beware.

Excellent service, happy customer
What a lovely online business! Excellent service. I love that the person who package your order, always writes a little personal note on your invoice. Makes you feel like you are a really valued customer. Never had any issues with orders from them.

Great service, satisfied customer
Dis-Chem Online has great service. We had a few orders that needed attention, but that was because of couriers (we live very remote) and no fault of Dis-Chem. Their staff are helpful and friendly when problems arise and give prompt feedback, even called us after delivery to ensure everything was in order. I would recommend them.

Great service, friendly staff

Poor service
I ordered 100 broiler chicks from Grace Poultry farm on 22 March 2024. The contact person was John and he was very quick to send me an invoice and accept my money. I paid full amount ofR1200 on 22 March 2024. Said initially my delivery will be on Wednesday,27 March, 2024. When I wanted to confirm delivery on Wednesday morning, he said delivery will be on Thursday, 28 March 2024. No delivery happened. It was Easter weekend and we received no communication regarding our delivery. Today is 2 April 2024. We send whatsapps to the numer and try tried to call. Still awaiting a response to the delivery of our order that was paid and not yet delivered. Very disappointed in the service.
