Absolutely pathetic customer service!!! I dropped off my Genesis end of January, did not hesitate to pay their R450 deposit. 5 months later not even a phone call!!! Excuses left right and centre, no quote, damage report, feedback, phone call of any kind. What did I pay you for??? I want my deposit back. Not getting anything for my money. Complete waste of time. Supersonic is the WORST internet Service Provider in South Africa!!!! I've been with them for 2.5 years and the past 13 months have been a complete nightmare!!!! My wifi is constantly DOWN It is IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of Support - they don't answer phone calls, e-mails, OR queries on their Whatsapp "help" line The ONLY way I get a reply is via Facebook messenger, and they only respond after an HOUR, at least!!!! When they do "look into" my problem, they send Vumatel technicians, who then find NO fault with the fiber line and they revert back to Supersonic. BACK TO SQUARE ONE!!!! And, Supersonic STILL don't send out technicians. Supersonic STILL doesn't sort out my wifi problem. 13 months now having constant wifi problems, and I run 2 businesses from home!!!! Do you have ANY idea how much money you are costing me in terms of data because you can't deliver a service???? Loss of income because I can't deliver services because of YOU?????? My internet went down AGAIN, LAST WEEK TUESDAY. 4 APRIL 2023. EIGHT DAYS LATER AND STILL OFFLINE!!!!!!! They sent out Vumatel technicians on Thursday 6 April 2023 who found NO fault with the fiber line, and "reverted back to Supersonic" I followed up with Supersonic FOUR days later, they tell me the ticket was closed and my internet is up. NONSENSE!!!!! DAY 8 NOW - nothing. I insisted on getting the name of the utterly useless Facebook tech support person, they refused to tell me their name. I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH SUPERSONIC!!!!!!!!! To whoever out there considering Supersonic, DON'T!!!!!!!! I pay R1295 PER MONTH - FOR WHAT???????
I have been battling for FOUR months to get Supersonic to remove a Clawback Invoice which I was incorrectly charged for in March 2022, to get it removed. No responses to any emails - the only way I could get hold of them was via Facebook messenger. Each time the consultant had tried to be helpful, yet Accounts would not remove this incorrect invoice. Getting suspended frequently because of "an account in arrears" because of this clawback, and the same fight every time to no avail. I would like to rate Supersonic a ZERO out of ten, however, a support consultant named CHARLES MOLEJANE, has been superb - he has fought very hard for me, and finally got Accounts to remove this invoice, and finally I received the correct updated statement! Charles, you deserve 10 out of 10! Million thanks, and keep up the good work!!! Supersonic - you need to step up your game and definitely get your Accounts department to start doing their work. You can learn from Charles, an excellent agent. Thanks again, Charles!
