I bought a fiesta from cubbi cars menlyn on 11 October 2025. I wrote an email on 29 December reporting a major defect and concern about the door lock that does not work, a petrol lid that does not lock. I sent this email to Fiona and Renier Spies. They did not respond in any form. I sent a reminder on 9 January 2026, still no response or acknowledgement. Their conduct simply implies to me that they a simply practicing organisational culture, standards and norms. It means that it is culture at cubbi to ignore customer complaints once they got the money they wanted, and that is obvious that there is no consequence management. I believe that reputation is all what any company needs to survive. Unless these two don't care about cubbi's reputation. I employ the CEO to allocate my concern to a most effective individual to have it resolved.
I want people to draw their own inference. My car is still out with cubbi for repairs since 20 October this year. Tuesday I was invited to come and test drive since it came back for the gearbox repairs. To my further disappointment, the car was stripped of all the original wheel nuts replaced with old ones, the wheel spanner of the car could not fit on these old wheel nuts, all four wheels. The engine cover with the logo durotech was also st**********. The wiper washer bottle lid also st**********. I don't know what to make of cubbi cars as I speak now. When I raise my concerns I am now perceived as an enemy and a nuisance. So I am expected to keep quiet just to beg to be called a good customer. All I wish for now is to get car back, I will fix all the defects on my own, just to satisfy them. Cubbi cars menlyn.
I recently wrote a review about the fiesta I bought at cubby cars menlyn. I still do not know how long the issue will persist, the car is not yet brought back, I do not know what is happening with it, how long it will take, and what is the exact date I will get it back, no progress of what work is done on it, wether the work has commenced or not. Month end wesbank is expecting payment from me. Cubbi cars, a real mess in the real world.
How do people survive with bidvest? I phone everyday since Monday, I am told a consultant will call me back I write emails they are not responding either. Who trained these people, and why do they wake up and go to work cos they are doing nothing. Yho I am dead frustrated with bidvest. King price and discovery insurance are the only insurance responding promptly
I first bought a Nissan Sentra in 2014, then bought a Mercedes Benz, then a Renault duster in 2016 then another Renault duster in 2020 again a Suzuki in 2023 now I just bought a Mahindra Scorpio N Feb 2025. All these cars at the same dealer, Renault hadefield. It is not because they sell exotic cars, it is their excellent and bravo customer service they offered me, I swear that given another opportunity to deal with them, I will without doubt and hesitation. These are the people that make Renault hadefield the absolute paradise, Mr. Gouws, Nakie,, Craig and Deon the workshop supervisor/ manager. The front desk team is also excellent at what they are doing, it is them that carry the flagship of the dealer cos you them first before the rest of the team.
I bought a Ford fiesta 1,5 tdci on 10 October, I drove it discovered it had a gearbox problem. Following Tuesday took it back. I have not received the car by now 30 October. Always the workshop says this says that. I had to scrub the seats clean myself. I am struggling with cubbi cars to get all issues resolved. I had to engage MIOSA and wesbank now, hope the matter will be resolved, if it will be.
I want to congratulate the dedication and professionalism by one Themba Sithole who went beyond the scope of his work to assist me in resolving and finalizing my windscreen claim on October 2024. It is his efforts that I am praising not king price. King price has contracted DGC glass who are very unprofessional, and doing shoddy work. They fitted a wrong windscreen on my Duster on two different occassions, however King price still keeps them. This makes one wonder as to what kind of relationship do they have, one will believe that they are having a ******* business relationship. Why would King price keep contracting DGC when they are so useless and unprofessional? In future I think King price must consider doing business with highly rated and reputable companies. In the first place when I got involved with kingprice there were issues of dissatisfaction. The past experience I had with them my current encounter is now that kingprice is at it, with my experience I rate them as the ultimate and most reliant and dedicated group. A promise they make is a promise they, their turnaround time is excellent. They rate10/10.
