I would like to take a moment to compliment this dealership (BB Renault Hatfield) on Friday, 23 January 2026, I collected my new Suzuki Swift 2025 from this dealership and the service, constant feedback, friendliness, warm smiles and making me feel like i was the only client made me feel truly welcome. It was absolutely phenomenal, and it was clear that customer care is extremely important to this team and always a top priority. I was genuinely moved when I drove away — words simply felt too small. A heartfelt thank you to Rudi Schuster and his team (Ighsaan Suliman & Ruben Grundlingh included) for working so hard to help me get my dream car. The effort, patience and care you showed from beginning to end means so much to me. I am honestly over the moon with happiness! At this point, I feel like I could stand and stare at my new car all day 😂 Your services is exceptional, and I sincerely appreciate it. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Once again, thank you so, so much! 🙌🏻😊 Warm Regards, Chante Koekemoer

All these bad reviews, believe them! The excitement of buying. I bought a used Corolla Cross from them in January 2025. Within 2 months, the back bumper was peeling off. Took it in and they resprayed it - I didn’t like the fact that I was already respraying a car I just bought but I let it go. Ohh boy, only for it to peel off again two months later after the respray. That’s when I encountered serious problems with them. No.1 They were not proactive in offering me serious solutions (they just kept on insisting on respraying the bumper) No.2 I was actually no longer interested in the car cause it kept on inconveniencing me - I stay in Limpopo and had to keep coming to PTA for that all at my cost. (I opted for them to trade it in for a better one), at that moment it was their chance to redeem themselves, however they were ripping me off (They were taking the car at R70000 less than what I bought it 5 months back - couldn’t believe my eyes). I literally put down a R50000 deposit on the car and it faded into thin air in just 5 months according to them and still has R20000 shortfall if I had to trade it in. When you add the installments I paid on the car, I had lost a total of R105000 in total - granted a car losses value neh, but I don’t think it can be that much in 5 months bruh!!! Worst part, during that whole period I then discovered the car was sourced from Avis and had been resprayed on other parts of the car (this I found out when I went to evaluate it at webuycars), and they had not disclosed that. Ohhh what a worst nightmare. I have always hated rental cars with everything in me cause I believe they are the most abused - if I wanted a car from Avis, I would have bought it straight from Avis. No.3 The Salesman (Mzwandile) was impeccable , he really did everything in his power to try help me but the used car sales manager was just not coming to the party. That guy is the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. I can see a lot of people are complaining about his arrogance yet nothing seems to be done about it! He just wasn’t interested in helping me and meeting me halfway. Imagine paying for a car you are not happy with for 6 years! Yooh they really ruined that whole car-buying experience for me! my first car faded before I could count up to 10. I bought a used Corolla Cross from them in January 2025. My experience with them was horrible. I got there to collect my car and I waited for 7 hours. I was not even offered water or tea and the worse part no one cared to explain why am I waiting for that long. I took the car and I had to do the registration of the car myself and I sent them an invoice and they refused to pay me the full amount

I purchased a car from BB Hatfield Renault, and I can honestly say it was the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Rudi Schuster and Ruben Grundlingh went the extra mile — they listened to my needs, kept me informed, and made the whole process smooth even though I was buying from another province. They secured excellent finance terms and continued offering support even after delivery. Their professionalism and genuine passion for their work make them a formidable team. BB Hatfield Renault is lucky to have them!

I first bought a Nissan Sentra in 2014, then bought a Mercedes Benz, then a Renault duster in 2016 then another Renault duster in 2020 again a Suzuki in 2023 now I just bought a Mahindra Scorpio N Feb 2025. All these cars at the same dealer, Renault hadefield. It is not because they sell exotic cars, it is their excellent and bravo customer service they offered me, I swear that given another opportunity to deal with them, I will without doubt and hesitation. These are the people that make Renault hadefield the absolute paradise, Mr. Gouws, Nakie,, Craig and Deon the workshop supervisor/ manager. The front desk team is also excellent at what they are doing, it is them that carry the flagship of the dealer cos you them first before the rest of the team.

I think the gentleman man is Wayne if you want to buy a byd car I recommend go see him it they even give loaner cars where the German cars sends via uber and they don’t have loner cars what bs the build quickly is second to none even beats the German cars the Germans can learn from BYD.

Took my car in for a service in 2021 December, got the car back with electrical fault. Car just completely cuts out while driving and sometimes just refuses to start. Spent the last couple of years taking it back to them with them completely refusing to help. They say they cant find the fault. Car has 21000km on. Will never buy a Renault again. Bad cars and even worse service

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the after-sales service I have received from Renault Hatfield. Despite numerous visits since October 2024, the persistent issue with my vehicle's brakes has not been adequately addressed. In October 2024, I reported that the brakes were making unusual sounds. The dealership failed to identify the problem and didn't replace the brakes, despite my requests. During the April 2025 service, the issue was not prioritized, and I was told the brakes would be replaced before the end of 2025. However, on August 15, 2025, I had a harrowing experience while driving with passengers on a long-distance trip. The brakes failed, nearly causing an accident. I was forced to replace the brakes myself. This incident highlights a serious concern regarding the prioritization of customer safety. It appears that Renault's focus on customer well-being is inadequate. Given this experience, I am considering alternative manufacturers for my next vehicle purchase. I hope you will take immediate action to address this issue and review your after-sales service policies to ensure customer safety is prioritized.
