Home Choice continues to force unsolicited marketing calls. This time around it was Lumka using the cell number 079 204 7512
Thembakazi from Home Choice made an unsolicited call to my cellphone at 13:27 on 21/06/2024 looking for my mother. The number used was 079 201 5057 (tricking you into thinking it's a cellphone call). When I advised her to stop calling because we are not interested in Home Choice her words were "I don't care we will keep calling" and she hung up. We have not requested any marketing contact from Home Choice and the brazen nature in which they ignore requests to stop marketing is the reason I will be reporting them to the NCC. Call length was 38 seconds made at 13:27pm on 21/06/2024.
I have been put on a month-to-month contract that I DO NOT WANT. I have been trying for 6 months to cancel unsuccessfully. My account is now sitting at over R11 000 and nobody at MTN is assisting. I have logged multiple tickets with legal, credit control, accounts, collections, customer care, and in-store (since November) but to no avail. I do not want this contract. Hence I have lodged a complaint with the NCC as per ICASA's referal.
I requested a service on behalf of a tenant. The driver collected the items (because he was in the area) and proceeded invoice me for R3 000. Apparently 4 curtains weigh 30KG. The owner (Ray) then proceeds to berate me on Whatsapp and says that "it is now he said, she said". He acknowledges (in writing) that the company did not quote me but insists that I pay, he will "deal with his staff". But I must pay whilst he holds my goods ransom. Disappointing to see that R3 000 is the low threshold with which you decide to compromise your business standards. And no, you are not "the highest level to escalate" when we have social media and websites that hold your service standards accountable. I used services in the past when they were still a small company with a handle on your quality control. Instead of insinuating that people wake up to **** your business everyday, maybe you should go back to doing what you did so well before. Massively disappointed.
