Order my baby's duvet set on 27 October 2025 as my due date is 31 January 2026. I was told that my order will be ready mid December. I paid the 50% deposit of R850 on 28 October 2025. On 12 November 2025 i asked to see the designs we are going to work with. I was told that they had to do an emergency premises move and that they struggled with their internet, but it will not have an impact on the leaf time. I waited and waited and heard nothing. On 22 November 2025,we discussed what designed im interested in. On the 25th of November i asked for feedback regarding the design. I received a reply "We will. Busy with it". How rude can you get? On 27 November 2025, i asked to see some of the designs being done. They rep**** "Busy with all the designs that had changes. We will send them once ready" I paid the remaining R850 on 28 November 2025. 1st of December 2025, i was still waiting for the designs, then the next excuse followed that they had to sort out logistics and material planning and that my order will still be completed and shipped later in December. 3rd of December i finally received the designs for every item. I asked them just to change the color, were i was rep**** in a very rude manner that i should've said that in the beginning. 9 December 2025, i asked again when the designes will be finalized and when will my order be shipped, i was told that it will be shipped within 2 weeks. 15 December 2025, i asked AGAIN WHEN WILL I GET ANY FINALIZATION. And they rep****. 17 December 2025,I asked again when will it be shipped, and their response were the couries ans delivery times are all over the place with more excuses. 27 December 2025, i asked how far is my order, because this is getting ridiculous. I was told that it will be shipped on the 5th of January 2026. As the couriers ar the ones at fault. I asked again to see the final product as it should be done by now. I was rep**** "Yes we will send photos of everything before we send off" yeah right! 06 January 2026, i was booked off as im on maternity leave and that they must use my home address and not work address. I was ignored as always and they eventually rep**** "Some small delays just bare with us. And do apologize for the delay and lack of communication just been busy in production over this period with limited rest days, non at all to be honest. Couriers will be better from this week onwards because all we did was call couriers for updates the past 3 weeks Hope you enjoyed yhe holidays and the maternity leave as well. Will ship in next week will give a day or 2 notice before photos and shipping" 08 January 2026, i asked for an update, with no response 09 January 2026, I was fed up with this bull**** and empty promises and will take legal steps if this continues. They rep**** the following: You will only cause your own delay further as there was a smarty pants who reported my bank account as *****ulent over the festive period and her bank only instructed the hold on my account Wednesday. So for 3 days that is all that I was sorting out between the banks. So don't be like her. Your order will only be shipped next week as I have limited personal funds that I requested from my own savings to be released so that I can atleast book the couriers and do transactions. So there is your update. I have lost so much time of this that it is ridiculous at a critical time of the year . And I know your order is overdue and everything was actually running smoothly and according to plan to get a whole truck load of orders out. So here we all sit because of 1 person's non understanding. So please don't be like her. And don't use this against me as this was out of total honesty of circumstances. But am sure some people enjoy updates like these.. So I do apologize and we will ensure that your order gets shipped next week promise 14 January 2026, i asked when will my order arrive as I can go into labour anytime! Got ignore the whole day and finaly they rep**** that photos will be sent and that it will be shipped on the 15th or 16th. On the 16th I was COMPLETELY IGNORED. Im done waiting for something I paid for. Unfortunately for her im opening a case. I want my order! I paid R1699.99 This is disgusting. Im done begging, done being patient. Im sure there are many other clients thats not receiving their orders. I don't think our duvet sets exists. Im not someone you mess with.
I ordered a Furnny Makeup Vanity Desk with Mirror, 2 Drawers, Modern Style, White for delivery on 05th January 2026. The parcel arrived late afternoon and it was not at all that I ordered. Delivered with my correct details and order nr came a JWB Folding Wagon. This item is not nearly the same size or even looks like what I ordered. This is really bad service from their side. This was a gift that I bought for someone to present on the 06th of January and now this will not happen due to Negligence of Take-a-Lot. Not happy at all, will not make use of Take-a-lot again after this. They better be damn sure to sort this out with no excuses at all!
USELESS On the 11th of November I ONLY ASKED FOR A QUOTE, never have I signed any paperwork giving permission that I want the policy to come into effect. Never have I given you permission that any money can be debited from MY ACCOUNT!! This is unacceptable. I will report YOU for ***** and stop the debit orders from my bank account. The Call Centre agent (Chadwin Tyler) that assisted me is definitely not EDUCATED! I said to her numerous times that I only want A QUOTE!! Now my debit orders will not go through, thanks to you. You will learn your lesson today.
I bought this smart watch on 24 April 2024, with order number #17253 Since August 2025, my watch is not working properly, not charging at all. I've contacted them about this issue, sent them videos, photos etc. They only responded by saying its been 1 year already and they cannot do anything. They advertise all of their products widely over social media when the product it self does not even last at all. My colleague at work also bought one and after one month hers stopped working. So don't advertise ****ty products saying its good quality when IT IS NOT!
In my time of need, Finfix were there for me! They saved my life! I've been with them for a year now, and I cannot complain. Their staff are always friendly and replies to my emails if I need clarity. 10/10
