Going back almost 1 year, to 10 September 2024 – on the advice of a Cell-Phone Data Recovery Specialist in Durban I had already paid R28,000 for Data Recovery: I then had to send my iPhone from Thabazimbi, in Limpopo - to another, associated Data Recovery Specialist in Kathu, NC. So, on the advice of this 1st supposed Specialist in Durban – I had to send my iPhone to a second, apparently specially skilled & excellent Cell-Phone Data Recovery Specialist in Kathu, in the Northern Cape. --- This was when I met the young “Courier Guy Gentleman,” who I met while organising the Couriering Of My iPhone, from Thabazimbi – and this gentleman was Shaun Dalmaine Harmse, the Manager of the Thabazimbi Branch. Needless to say, Shaun Harmse was absolutely outstanding, polite and professional – in every way – in doing the successful organising, expediting and “Couriering” of my iPhone – to this Alleged Cell-Phone Data Recovery Specialist in Kathu, NC. Unfortunately, then, within just 2 weeks after my phone arrived at this Alleged Cell-Phone Data Recovery Specialist in Kathu, NC – I started having doubts, misgivings and worries about this Alleged Cell-Phone Data Recovery Specialist. This was because I had already paid an initial very hefty R28,000.00 to this Specialist’s 1st Business Partner, in Durban. But then, the Really Serious Grifting, Cheating, ***** & ****ming Began – with this 2nd Grifter in Kathu, NC. This So-Called “Specialist” in Kathu, NC - very soon, almost immediately proved to be an absolutely DISGUSTING, SMAMELESS ****MER, ******* & GRIFTER – and unfortunately for me, he was in possession of my very valuable iPhone. Also, just like his friend & colleague in Kathu NC, the 1st original So-Called “Specialist” in Durban; also very quickly proved to be equally as disgusting, also a ****MER & ******* --- This 2nd “Specialist” in Kathu, NC – After ****ming an ADDITIONAL R7.500.00 from me; saying he needed to buy ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE & PROGRAMS to successfully RECOVER THE LAST DATA from my iPHONE, with 100% CER*****Y --- But as soon as he got this ADDITIONAL R7,500.00 from me, which now added up to R35,500.00 (along with the original R28,000.00 I’d already paid in August) he then IMMEDIATELY PROCEEDED TO BLOCK & IGNORE ME COMPLETELY. He absolutely would not reply to me, by DIRECT PHONE-CALLS, WHATSAPP, TEXTS & E-MAILS – HE TOTALLY BLOCKED & IGNORED ME FOR A WHOLE MONTH. And then, only by miracle; only by using a relative’s cell-phone – I eventually managed to get this ****MER ON THE PHONE (once again, only by using someone else’s phone) – I then promised him that – I SYMPATHISED DEEPLY THAT HE HAD JUST GOT “LUNG CANCER” (A Huge & Disgusting “Sympathy, ****ming Lie”; I Am 99.9% Sure; Just Like The Other ****mer In Durban Also Blatantly **** As Well, Simultaneously Telling Me He’d Just Had Open Heart Surgery!!) – BUT AS SOON AS I GOT THIS DISGUSTING ****MER ON THE PHONE AGAIN -- I TOLD HIM VERY NICELY THAT HE REALLY SHOULD NOT WORRY – NOT AT ALL; BECAUSE I SUSPECTED THAT, HE HAD STILL NOT BEEN ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY RECOVER MY DATA --- BUT I WOULD BE HAPPY TO PAY HIM MUCH MORE MONEY – IF HE COULD STILL SUCCESSFULLY RECOVER MY DATA. As soon as I was so nicely, hugely friendly to him, & also seemingly “DESPERATE,” because I desperately offered MUCH MORE MONEY TO HIM, HE GOT EXCITED; by saying that I’d pay him even MUCH MORE MONEY, AS MUCH EXTRA MONEY THAT HE WOULD NEED to recover my lost iPHONE DATA --- -- MY PROMISES OF MORE MONEY GOT HIS GREEDY, OPPORTUNISTIC MIND WORKING -- & THIS WAS WHEN HE IMMEDATELY SAID HE WOULD NOW NEED ANOTHER, EXTRA R15,500.00 --- So I would now be paying him R35,500.00 + the EXTRA R15,500.00 --- Which Would Now Amount to a WHOPPING R51,000.00 ALTOGETHER – --- HOWEVER, in order for me to be able to pay him this extra R15,5K (or R51K, altogether, to him and his *****ed, thieving friend) --- --- I WOULD NOW VERY URGENTLY NEED MY PHONE BACK, ASAP – BECAUSE I HAD NOW NOT HAD MY iPhone FOR ALMOST 2 MONTHS -- --- So, please, please, please – would he please courier my iPhone back to me, IMMEDIATELY & ASAP? – --- But this ****, ****MER & ****** had now moved from Kathu, NC – to Posmasburg, NC – Because he and his family had just been kicked out of their home in Kathu, NC, because of non-rent payment – So MY EXTRA R15,500.00 (R51,000.00 altogether) – would now really help him and his family. --- However, despite him promising that he would COURIER MY PHONE IMMEDIATELY – BACK TO MY FRIEND IN Pietermaritzburg, KZN – --- After 2 more frustrating weeks of promising, HE STILL HAD NOT COURIERED MY PHONE BACK TO ME. Also, this whole above story that took place; as from 10 September last year, 10 September 2024 – --- Also took place, with me having left South Africa to come to Canada – just 2 days after I couriered the phone to him, on 12 September last year. So, having been in Canada, almost the whole time that all the above events took place --- --- I had absolutely no way --- TO GO AND COLLECT OR TRY TO GET BACK THE PHONE, MYSELF --- --- AND THIS IS BECAUSE I AM IN CANADA, AND HAVE BEEN HERE --- FOR MOST OF THE ABOVE EVENTS (but, I will soon be returning from Canada, to live back home in South Africa, permanently!) --- --- & THIS WAS WHERE & WHEN, in utter desperation, BEING STUCK ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD, HERE IN CANADA, because I really did not know what else to do --- --- This was when I called Shaun | Dalmaine Harmse – at “The Courier Guy” in Thabazimbi NC, in desperation and panic. --- AND, immediately sensing my UTTER DESPERATION, PANIC & HELPLESSNESS – --- This was where Shaun stepped in to help – & HE TOOK CONTROL --- ABSOLUTELY, COMPLETELY & VERY COMPETENTLY. --- Even though Shaun was based VERY FAR AWAY from Kathu & Posmasburg, NC -- Being based in Thabazimbi, Limpopo ---- --- This was when he, Shaun, sent “THE COURIER GUY” all the way to POSMASBURG from KATHU (NC) – Nearly 100 kms, or 200 kms round trip; and even then ---- --- This DISGUSTING ******* in POSMASBURG, NC --- once again tried to ELICIT, **** AND BUM and EXTRA R2,500.00 – “Up-Front Payment” directly from the “Courier Guy” – --- But Shaun very deftly stepped in to say that the “Courier Guy” Drivers are not allowed to carry cash, and somehow – by being utterly calm, professional and VERY, VERY QUICK --- ----- On Friday 8 November last year, 8 November 2024 --- ----- Shaun successfully managed to get his DRIVER from KATHU, NC --- To drive all the way to POSMASBURG, NC – ----- And also, for this DRIVER from KATHU, NC – TO ALSO REMAIN CALM & PROFESSIONAL -- ----- The Driver then successfully collected my iPHONE10XR -- From this utterly disgusting, ****ming, lying, reprehensible *****! And then, not only did Shaun successfully “SAVE” and RETRIEVE my very valuable iPHONE10XR from this *****, but he also then had it successfully delivered to my Zulu friend in Pietermaritzburg, KZN – On Wednesday, 13 November 2024! Then, finally, a month or two later, in December 2024 or January 2025 --- --- When I phoned Shaun | Dalmaine Harmse; to ask him how I could pay him & “The Courier Guy” – --- FOR THIS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, UNBEATABLE AND JAW-DROPPING CUSTOMER SERVICE – ------- He told me not to worry --- THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING AT ALL! In summary, Shaun and “The Courier Guy” went totally & completely OUT OF THEIR WAY, FETCHING AND RESCUING MY VERY valuable iPHONE10XR, from a KNOWN AND PROVEN *****, in small Northern Cape Town, Posmasburg – Where they do not even have a branch – --- And then, to ADD EVEN MORE INCREDIBLE BENEFITS, FAVOURS & SPECIAL TREAMENT --- They ALSO DELIVERED MY iPHONE10XR --- To my friend in KZN, on the other side of South Africa. Also the ******* had not even packaged my phone either – --- But via Shaun & his fantastic “Courier Guy Colleagues,” based in Kathu, NC – ------ THEY TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY RESCUED MY iPhone, FROM THIS KNOWN AND PROVEN ******* and ****MER. Shaun Dalmaine Harmse is not only my saviour: He is my GOOD SAMARITAN, HERO, RESCUER and SAINT. I totally admire and respect Shaun --- and his brilliant, out-of-the-box service ---- also reflects directly and hugely positively on “The Courier Guy!” I have always previously, & also subsequently --- Used “The Courier Guy” as my ONE & ONLY courier company in South Africa –-- And now I know that Shaun Harmse & “The Courier Guy” are UNBEATABLY GOOD, RELIABLE, DECENT & OUTSTANDING – ------ They are not only “AS GOOD AS IT GETS” – but they could not possibly be any better than they already are!
Starting on 28 July 2024, I contacted a Company in Durban – To whom I paid R28,000.00 on 15 August – For A DARK WEB Data Recovery from my ****** iPhone. Then, in early September, this DBN Company told me that their “FORENSIC COLLEAGUE” IN THE NORTHERN CAPE – WOULD DEFINITELY BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY RECOVER ALL MY LOST-****** iPhone DATA – via “THE DARK WEB” --- “100%, FOR SURE” --- --- But in order to do this --- The DBN Company told me that – Using my 2nd iPhone, if I did I SIM SWAP – then the Data Recovery of my 1st ****** iPhone - would be easier – ---- So please could I now send my 2nd iPhone to this FORENSIC SPECIALIST IN THE N-CAPE – This business was named “JON PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR,” and because I’d already invested R28K, & was still convinced by the CONSTANT REASSURANCES of the DBN Company – I immediately couriered my 2nd iPhone – to JON PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR | “JON PI,” in the N-CAPE. “JON PI” received my phone on 12 Sept, & initially said he’d recover my data with 80% cer*****y – But then, on 22 Sept, he said he would now need an extra R4,700.00 to buy “Special Apps & Software” to SUCCESSFULLY “EXTRACT, DECRYPT & DECODE” all my LOST iPHONE DATA OFF THE “DARK WEB” – with 100% cer*****y. Because I’d now returned to Canada, I also had to pay R2,6K to courier my 2nd iPhone from SA back to Canada, + R200.00 for a USB for Data, + R4,7K for “Apps & Software” – All these costs added up to R7,5K – which I paid to “JON PI” by International EFT, on Tue 24 Sept. But “JON PI” gave me the WRONG ACCOUNT#, so this 1st PAYMENT WAS INVALID & COULD NOT GO THRU – “JON PI” THEN GOT ANGRY & PHONED ME & SENT ME NASTY, THREATENING E-MAILS . He also wouldn’t take my attempted calls to him, & only eventually, after being up all night in Canada – he answered a call from my friend in JHB, & then spoke to me. “JON PI” also unilaterally phoned & texted my JHB friend; asking for money from him. On Fri 27 Sept, I then make a 2nd R7,5K payment to “JON PI” – BUT, as as soon as I paid “JON PI” this 2nd R7,5K, which he received on Fri 4 Oct, “JON PI” suddenly would not answer any of my Landline & WhatsApp Phone Calls, or Text Messages, or E-Mails, for 5 agonizing days. 5 days later, on Tue 8 Oct, “JON PI” eventually confirmed that he’d received the R7,5K–But this was only AFTER I got my Zulu friend to phone him, because he’d just ignored all my previous attempts to communicate with him, for 5 days – “JON PI” only eventually confirmed that he got the R7,5K on Fri 4 Oct, on Tue 8 Oct—and this was when “JON PI” told me that he was having serious anxiety issues–& that he would now therefore be totally unavailable–until further notice. I then had to wait 3 more weeks with ZERO COMMS, until 29 Oct, with “JON PI” – because of his anxiety problems – & could not talk to me or anyone. I had begged him – PLEASE – to get in touch with me ASAP – But, of course, he never reverted to me at all. “JON PI” then only eventually spoke to me again after 3 agonizing weeks, after dead silence from 8 to 29 Oct; only when I used my brother-in-law’s phone to call him. This was when I told “JON PI” that I suspected that his DARK WEB DATA RECOVERY HAD NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL – BUT NOT TO WORRY, BECAUSE I WOULD STILL PAY HIM MONEY – IF HE COULD PLEASE JUST RETURN MY PHONE TO ME – & THAT I WOULD PAY HIM EVEN MORE MONEY – IF HE COULD PLEASE RETURN MY PHONE TO ME WITH SAY “HALF” THE LOST DATA – OR EVEN MORE MONEY – IF HE COULD RETURN MY PHONE TO ME, WITH “ALL” THE LOST DATA. -- “JON PI” was suddenly ENERGISED BY MY PROMISES OF “MORE MONEY” – Remembering that he just received a lot of MONEY, R7,500.00 – On Friday 4 Oct --- & HE STILL HAD MY 2ND PHONE IN HIS POSSESSION – & HE HAD ALSO NOW CONFIRMED THAT HE COULD NOT RECOVER ANY OF MY DATA, AT ALL – --- But “JON PI” now also, besides his “anxiety” – now also had a life-threatening illness: early stage lung cancer – Plus, he was about to be kicked out of his home, & desperately needed “emergency help” to pay his outstanding R4,985.00 rent – & please would I help by sending him money “immediately?!” --- BUT I REALLY COULD NOT AFFORD “Extra Money” – BUT WOULD PAY HIM IF WOULD SEND MY 2nd PHONE BACK --- (BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO ALSO LOSE MY 2nd iPHONE, AFTER HAVING HAD MY 1st iPHONE ****** IN JULY) ---- Then, in early November, from 1 to 8 Nov, “JON PI” repeatedly promised to COURIER MY PHONE BACK TO ME, which he NEVER DID – Because he every day, he had another excuse for not doing so; because he said he was kicked out of his house for not paying rent, & had to move house, etc. --- Then, between 28 Oct & 13 Nov – by miracle – & by promising to send “JON PI” MORE MONEY – I eventually managed to get my 2nd iPhone fetched from him, in the Northern Cape, & couriered back to my Zulu friend in KZN. Now, along with the R2,5K that I’m now supposed to pay “JON PI” to send my 2nd iPHONE back to me; he also expects another R13K from me–for yet more “Software+Apps” to “CONVERT” the “Unreadable Cached Data” that he (apparently?) has on his Computer – INTO PROPERLY READABLE FILES FOR ME -- --- So, “JON PI” --- After having received R7,5K from me + Apparently R10K from the “DBN Company” who referred me to “JON PI” – HAS STILL RECOVERED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME --- --- But he now still expects another R2,5K + R13K = R15,5K --- Which, along with the R7,5K I already paid him -- Amounts To R23K -- And this would also be another R10K more (a total of R33K) - if the Durban Mother Company paid him R10K of the R28K I paid them, which they said they did, but which “JON PI” says they didn’t? Now, realising that I have been so comprehensively ****med & catfished, I will most definitely NOT Pay “JON PI” Another Cent - Because I have already paid him, plus the DBN Company, + my other expenses – A total of > R43,000.00 | R43K, & I’VE GOTTEN NOTHING BACK, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL. Not only was “JON PI’S” attitude always only ever nice, only ever when I was about to PAY HIM MONEY – But as soon as I paid him, or asked him any follow-up questions – He was suddenly “UNAVAILABLE, HAD ANXIETY & THEN LUNG CANCER” & so on. “JON PI” gave me sleepless nights for > 2 months; with him not answering calls, texts & e-mails; with me also having to call SA Banks, to chase my payments to him; throughout the night in Canada; because I’m 6-7 hours behind you in SA, here in Canada. --- Along with DBN Company that referred me to him -- “JON PI” has just given me what was easily the most horrible, unpleasant and scary consumer experience that I have ever had in my life. --- My iPhone now has 24 extra icons on it; plus 10-20 extra contacts – & “JON PI” openly admitted that he & his daughter were using my phone, playing with it and using it, etc – which is also TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Most Importantly: I’ve just been told – By 3 forensic data recovery specialists; TECLEO in JHB SA, and FLASH FIXERS in the USA, & EVERYTHING MOBILE in Canada – THAT DARK WEB iPHONE DATA RECOVERY IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE – So all “JON PI’S” PROMISES APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN TOTALLY *****ULENT & UNTRUE, RIGHT FROM THE START. But, even if JON PI actually really could have done a DARK WEB extraction | recovery; I still paid R43K altogether - R7,5 directly to him, R28K to the DBN Company, + my other expenses of > R7,5K–––But I got absolutely nothing back from “JON PI”, after paying lots & lots of money, after he put me through over 2½ unforgettably horrible months – WITH ABSOLUTELY ZERO SUCCESS.
Starting on 28 July 2024, I contacted SPI SERVICES in Queensburgh KZN – The Owner told me he could easily recover all the lost info+data of my ****** iPhone, via the DARK WEB. (Phone ******: 19 July) But the next day, 29 July; SPI’S Owner WhatsApp “BLOCKED” me - because I asked him too many questions about data recovery & the high R16,000.00 cost thereof. The R16K cost comprised an initial R2,5K “consultation” + the R13,5K “data recovery fee.” Being instantly “BLOCKED” by SPI worried me, but I was desperate to recover my important ******|lost info. (iPhone wasn’t backed up on iCloud: This was my ******** mistake.) So, on 14 August, I apologised to SPI Services, before being able to actually meet the Owner of SPI; having driven down from JHB to DBN. I first had to prepay his R2,5K “initial consult”- before even meeting him. Then I was told that the data recovery cost will now be increased by R12K – From R13,5K to R25,5K – BUT HIS “FORENSIC DEPARTMENT” WOULD DEFINITELY RECOVER ALL MY LOST-****** iPhone DATA – “100%, FOR SURE.” So, on 15 August, I paid the sharply increased R25.5K, so with the R2,5K – I’d now paid R28K to SPI - but was emphatically told I definitely should get back all my ******|lost iPhone data back – by 5 September 2024, in 3 weeks. But then, in early September, SPI Services told me that using my 2nd iPhone, if I did I SIM SWAP–a DARK WEB Data Recovery my 1st ****** iPhone; would be much easier. But I’d now have to send my 2nd iPhone to a DARK WEB “FORENSIC SPECIALIST” IN THE NORTHERN CAPE. Having already invested R28K, & still convinced by SPI SERVICES’ CONSTANT REASSURANCES–I couriered my 2nd iPhone to SPI Services’ “FORENSIC SPECIALIST.” The FORENSIC SPECIALIST got my phone on 12 Sept, & initially said he could recover all my data with 80% cer*****y. However, then, on 22 Sept, he said he’d now need an extra R4,700.00 to buy “Special Apps & Software” to “DEFINITELY EXTRACT & RECOVER” all my LOST iPHONE DATA OFF THE “DARK WEB” – with 100% cer*****y. Because I returned to Canada on 12 Sept, I’d also have to pay him R2,600.00 to courier my 2nd iPhone from SA back to Canada, + R200.00 for a Data USB Data – All these costs added up to R7,5K; which I paid to SPI’s FORENSIC SPECIALIST by International EFT, on Fri 27 Sept. But as soon as I paid him this money, which he received on Fri 4 Oct, the FORENSIC SPECIALIST suddenly would NOT answer any of my Landline + WhatsApp Phone Calls,or Text Messages, or E-Mails for 5 agonising days; until Tue 8 October. When I reverted back to SPI Services about this, SPI told me – “Hire A Lawyer” – Absurd advice, because this would be fruitless. Then the FORENSIC SPECIALIST eventually confirmed he’d received the R7,5K; but only when I got a friend to call him, because he’d ignored all my attempts to communicate with him for 5 days – SPI SERVICES then told me that he would be unavailable till further notice, because he was having heart bypass surgery. I then had to wait 3 more weeks with ZERO COMMS, until 29 Oct, with the FORENSIC SPECIALIST – who also told me he now also had serious medical problems, & could not talk to me or anyone. This FORENSIC SPECIALIST then only eventually spoke to me again, after 3 agonising weeks, from 8 to 29 Oct; only when I used my brother-in-law’s phone to call him. Then SPI Services reverted to me, saying that now; he no longer needed a bypass op; & when I told him his FORENSIC SPECIALIST HAD ALL MY MONEY – + MY 2ND PHONE TOO – + HE NOW SAID THAT HE COULD NOT RECOVER ANY OF MY DATA AT ALL – Plus the FORENSIC SPECIALIST now also suddenly had a life-threatening illness: early stage lung cancer – Plus he was being kicked out of his home + also urgently needed “emergency financial help” to pay his outstanding R4,985.00 rent – & would I help by sending him money “immediately.” When I phoned SPI SERVICES to tell him all this – SPI SERVICES SIMPLY TOLD ME THAT HIS “FORENSIC SPECIALIST” WAS A ***** AND **** – HE ALSO THAT I WOULD NEVER, EVER GET MY 2nd iPHONE BACK – BECAUSE THIS “FORENSIC SPECIALIST” HAD ALSO ****** & NOT RETURNED ANOTHER CLIENT’S LAPTOP – AND LIKE THE FORENSIC SPECIALIST, HE SAID THAT THEY HAD JUST HAD A FALLOUT. (I think this “FALLOUT” was primarily to DEFLECT MY ATTENTION; because I suspect that SPI & the “FORENSIC GUY” were always working together.) However, then between 29 Oct & 13 Nov – by miracle, & only by promising to send SPI SERVICES “FORENSIC SPECIALIST” MORE MONEY, WITH OR WITHOUT DATA RECOVERY – Did I manage to get my 2nd iPhone fetched from him, in the N-Cape, and couriered back to my friend in KZN, South Africa. On 8 + 9 November, when I reverted to SPI SERVICES to see if he could still help me to recover the data – for which I had now paid R43K (R28K to SPI – Plus R7,5K to FORENSIC SPECIALIST – Plus R7,5 for a wide array of associated costs) – --- SPI SERVICES Now Refused to give me – Either an EXACT or APPROXIMATE ESTIMATE – To try to “Recover or Extract” my last data, which he had repeatedly PROMISED ME that he would recover for me – “100%, FOR SURE” – --- SPI SERVICES then said that I must 1st SEND HIM MY 2nd iPHONE, for him to see what he could recover from iCLOUD – & when I reminded him that NO BACK-UP WAS EVER MADE TO iCLOUD, which was why I had approached him in the 1st place – --- Because he’d repeatedly promised with 100% cer*****y; that he could definitely recover all this info from the “DARK WEB” – --- SPI SERVICES then said all “DARK WEB” WORK IS FOR his “FORENSIC DEPARTMENT,” & his FORENSIC DEPT is the SAME FORENSIC SPECIALIST IN THE N-CAPE, who, with SPI’s Direct Referral, Approval & Encouragement - Had just put me through the above 2½ month nightmare! ----- To summarise: SPI’s attitude only ever nice and polite, only when I PAYING OR HAD JUST PAID HIM MONEY – But as soon as I asked him any pertinent, common-sense questions – he always instantly became bullying and nasty. SPI SERVICES has just given what was easily the most horrible, unforgettably unpleasant and scary consumer experience that I have ever, ever had in my life. Most Importantly: I have just been told – By 3 forensic data recovery specialists; TECLEO in JHB SA, and FLASH FIXERS in the USA, & EVERYTHING MOBILE in Canada – That all this DARK WEB iPHONE DATA RECOVERY – Is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE – So all of SPI SERVICES’ PROMISES APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN TOTALLY *****ULENT AND UNTRUE, RIGHT FROM THE START. However, even if SPI actually really could’ve done a DARK WEB extraction | recovery – I still paid R43,000.00 to SPI & his FORENSIC SPECIALIST, plus also – all my other expenses – but I got absolutely nothing back from SPI or his FORENSIC SPECIALIST, after more than 3 awful months.
Starting on 28 July 2024, I contacted a Company in Durban – To whom I paid R28,000.00 on 15 August – For A DARK WEB Data Recovery from my ****** iPhone. Then, in early September, this DBN Company told me that their “FORENSIC COLLEAGUE” IN THE NORTHERN CAPE – WOULD DEFINITELY BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY RECOVER ALL MY LOST-****** iPhone DATA – via “THE DARK WEB” --- “100%, FOR SURE” --- --- But in order to do this --- The DBN Company told me that – Using my 2nd iPhone, if I did I SIM SWAP – then the Data Recovery of my 1st ****** iPhone - would be easier – ---- So please could I now send my 2nd iPhone to this FORENSIC SPECIALIST IN THE N-CAPE – This business was named “JON PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR,” and because I’d already invested R28K, & was still convinced by the CONSTANT REASSURANCES of the DBN Company – I immediately couriered my 2nd iPhone – to JON PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR | “JON PI,” in the N-CAPE. “JON PI” received my phone on 12 Sept, & initially said he’d recover my data with 80% cer*****y – But then, on 22 Sept, he said he would now need an extra R4,700.00 to buy “Special Apps & Software” to SUCCESSFULLY “EXTRACT, DECRYPT & DECODE” all my LOST iPHONE DATA OFF THE “DARK WEB” – with 100% cer*****y. Because I’d now returned to Canada, I also had to pay R2,6K to courier my 2nd iPhone from SA back to Canada, + R200.00 for a USB for Data, + R4,7K for “Apps & Software” – All these costs added up to R7,5K – which I paid to “JON PI” by International EFT, on Tue 24 Sept. But “JON PI” gave me the WRONG ACCOUNT#, so this 1st PAYMENT WAS INVALID & COULD NOT GO THRU – “JON PI” THEN GOT ANGRY & PHONED ME & SENT ME NASTY, THREATENING E-MAILS . He also wouldn’t take my attempted calls to him, & only eventually, after being up all night in Canada – he answered a call from my friend in JHB, & then spoke to me. “JON PI” also unilaterally phoned & texted my JHB friend; asking for money from him. On Fri 27 Sept, I then make a 2nd R7,5K payment to “JON PI” – BUT, as as soon as I paid “JON PI” this 2nd R7,5K, which he received on Fri 4 Oct, “JON PI” suddenly would not answer any of my Landline & WhatsApp Phone Calls, or Text Messages, or E-Mails, for 5 agonizing days. 5 days later, on Tue 8 Oct, “JON PI” eventually confirmed that he’d received the R7,5K–But this was only AFTER I got my Zulu friend to phone him, because he’d just ignored all my previous attempts to communicate with him, for 5 days – “JON PI” only eventually confirmed that he got the R7,5K on Fri 4 Oct, on Tue 8 Oct—and this was when “JON PI” told me that he was having serious anxiety issues–& that he would now therefore be totally unavailable–until further notice. I then had to wait 3 more weeks with ZERO COMMS, until 29 Oct, with “JON PI” – because of his anxiety problems – & could not talk to me or anyone. I had begged him – PLEASE – to get in touch with me ASAP – But, of course, he never reverted to me at all. “JON PI” then only eventually spoke to me again after 3 agonizing weeks, after dead silence from 8 to 29 Oct; only when I used my brother-in-law’s phone to call him. This was when I told “JON PI” that I suspected that his DARK WEB DATA RECOVERY HAD NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL – BUT NOT TO WORRY, BECAUSE I WOULD STILL PAY HIM MONEY – IF HE COULD PLEASE JUST RETURN MY PHONE TO ME – & THAT I WOULD PAY HIM EVEN MORE MONEY – IF HE COULD PLEASE RETURN MY PHONE TO ME WITH SAY “HALF” THE LOST DATA – OR EVEN MORE MONEY – IF HE COULD RETURN MY PHONE TO ME, WITH “ALL” THE LOST DATA. -- “JON PI” was suddenly ENERGISED BY MY PROMISES OF “MORE MONEY” – Remembering that he just received a lot of MONEY, R7,500.00 – On Friday 4 Oct --- & HE STILL HAD MY 2ND PHONE IN HIS POSSESSION – & HE HAD ALSO NOW CONFIRMED THAT HE COULD NOT RECOVER ANY OF MY DATA, AT ALL – --- But “JON PI” now also, besides his “anxiety” – now also had a life-threatening illness: early stage lung cancer – Plus, he was about to be kicked out of his home, & desperately needed “emergency help” to pay his outstanding R4,985.00 rent – & please would I help by sending him money “immediately?!” --- BUT I REALLY COULD NOT AFFORD “Extra Money” – BUT WOULD PAY HIM IF WOULD SEND MY 2nd PHONE BACK --- (BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO ALSO LOSE MY 2nd iPHONE, AFTER HAVING HAD MY 1st iPHONE ****** IN JULY) ---- Then, in early November, from 1 to 8 Nov, “JON PI” repeatedly promised to COURIER MY PHONE BACK TO ME, which he NEVER DID – Because he every day, he had another excuse for not doing so; because he said he was kicked out of his house for not paying rent, & had to move house, etc. --- Then, between 28 Oct & 13 Nov – by miracle – & by promising to send “JON PI” MORE MONEY – I eventually managed to get my 2nd iPhone fetched from him, in the Northern Cape, & couriered back to my Zulu friend in KZN. Now, along with the R2,5K that I’m now supposed to pay “JON PI” to send my 2nd iPHONE back to me; he also expects another R13K from me–for yet more “Software+Apps” to “CONVERT” the “Unreadable Cached Data” that he (apparently?) has on his Computer – INTO PROPERLY READABLE FILES FOR ME -- --- So, “JON PI” --- After having received R7,5K from me + Apparently R10K from the “DBN Company” who referred me to “JON PI” – HAS STILL RECOVERED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME --- --- But he now still expects another R2,5K + R13K = R15,5K --- Which, along with the R7,5K I already paid him -- Amounts To R23K -- And this would also be another R10K more (a total of R33K) - if the Durban Mother Company paid him R10K of the R28K I paid them, which they said they did, but which “JON PI” says they didn’t? Now, realising that I have been so comprehensively ****med & catfished, I will most definitely NOT Pay “JON PI” Another Cent - Because I have already paid him, plus the DBN Company, + my other expenses – A total of > R43,000.00 | R43K, & I’VE GOTTEN NOTHING BACK, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL. Not only was “JON PI’S” attitude always only ever nice, only ever when I was about to PAY HIM MONEY – But as soon as I paid him, or asked him any follow-up questions – He was suddenly “UNAVAILABLE, HAD ANXIETY & THEN LUNG CANCER” & so on. “JON PI” gave me sleepless nights for > 2 months; with him not answering calls, texts & e-mails; with me also having to call SA Banks, to chase my payments to him; throughout the night in Canada; because I’m 6-7 hours behind you in SA, here in Canada. --- Along with DBN Company that referred me to him -- “JON PI” has just given me what was easily the most horrible, unpleasant and scary consumer experience that I have ever had in my life. --- My iPhone now has 24 extra icons on it; plus 10-20 extra contacts – & “JON PI” openly admitted that he & his daughter were using my phone, playing with it and using it, etc – which is also TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Most Importantly: I’ve just been told – By 3 forensic data recovery specialists; TECLEO in JHB SA, and FLASH FIXERS in the USA, & EVERYTHING MOBILE in Canada – THAT DARK WEB iPHONE DATA RECOVERY IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE – So all “JON PI’S” PROMISES APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN TOTALLY *****ULENT & UNTRUE, RIGHT FROM THE START. But, even if JON PI actually really could have done a DARK WEB extraction | recovery; I still paid R43K altogether - R7,5 directly to him, R28K to the DBN Company, + my other expenses of > R7,5K–––But I got absolutely nothing back from “JON PI”, after paying lots & lots of money, after he put me through over 2½ unforgettably horrible months – WITH ABSOLUTELY ZERO SUCCESS.
I am almost 66 years old, so I am not computer or cellphone literate - and I was having "navigation & technical difficulties and challenges" in purchasing a ticket, for an event. Today, on Tuesday 6 August 2024 --- -- I went into MATRIX WAREHOUSE CONSTANTIA (KLOOF) --- Because I am 65 years old, and not computer or cellphone literate - And I was trying to get my Laptop to "PICK UP" and read my (old) cellphone - So I could easily and efficiently do DATA TRANSFER - Mostly of PHOTOS and SCREENSHOTS - From my (old) cellphone to my laptop -- -- "JJ" was absolutely fantastic. He was PATIENT, KIND & VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE -- -- And instantly gave me an EXCELLENT LESSON -- -- In doing this DATA TRANSFER. ------ And this was after going to 4 other IT-Companies, all of whom wouldn't help me, and got impatient with me, and CHASED ME AWAY! In stark contrast, to all these other hostile companies --- --- "JJ," was so charming, patient, capable and outstanding -- ------ That I will now always go back to Matrix Warehouse, Constantia Kloof -- -------- For all of my IT, Cellphone and Laptop Needs. This company is consistently professional and "on their game!" I picked up my Toyota Starlet, on a long term monthly rental - over 2 months ago; at King Shaka International Airport in Durban. -- I have just renewed my long term rental; at Woodford's Pietermaritzburg in KZN - -- And once again, everybody is consistently professional, courteous and capable. -- I expect to complete my long term rental next month, in Sandton in Johannesburg -- -- And am hoping for and realistically expecting; the same consistency, professionalism and the best possible customer service, when I finally drop off the car next month in Johannesburg. Right from the start, my experience with Sani Car Rental at King Shaka Airport in Durban, started out as mediocre. But then, Sani quickly corrected their errors, and turned my experience from mediocre to almost perfect and outstanding. I started by trying to deal with one of the Sani Branches in KZN - Not the King Shaka Branch - And because I sent 2 e-mails to this branch, which were both not rep**** to, I complained. My complaint was then immediately referred to the Regional Manager of KZN, who immediately told me that she herself would take over and look after me. From that point on; the booking and quotation for my rental car was all handled by her. All my “fussy questions” were totally and honestly handled - and from that point onwards; my whole rental process became absolutely seamless, trouble-free world class. Although I then had to deal with branch personnel, and not the Regional Mgr, everything was perfect from then on. Almost all of renters’ problems with car rentals - come directly from them not being careful enough; and not really caring for the car; and making sure it does not get any new and additional defects, sc****s or scratches - to the body of the car, the tyres and the windscreen, etc. I always look after rental cars as if they are my own; and so, when I returned the car in the same condition that I received it; with no new problems or defects - my deposit was also quickly refunded to me.
