. After three weeks of having my laptop for a warranty repair. The repair centre sent it back with a bitlock activated which no one on God's green earth can unlock unless it's sent back to them. They promised to pick up the laptop. NOTHING. They don't pick up their phones. Someone called Treat Mabuza is supposed to be a manager. Completely missing in action. Never answers a phone. The repair centre is completely useless. Meanwhile a usless man at the warranty centre closed the ticket. The only one helping is a lady called Fatima. She tried her absolute best and should be commended. The whole organization and everyone working with them is completely and utterly hopeless. So don't buy any laptop from Evetech, because the warranties are a disaster.
I got a *****ulent debit order against my account in the name of BDB Tc Payment Solutions. Impossible to get a hold of them. I disputed it on my banking app, but can't reach them to sort out why they did it in the first place.
<p>I upgraded my contract. I had many many heaped up minutes from my previous contract. They ate away my minutes using the new rates. I already paid for those minutes, they were mine. How can they charge me for them again!!!!!!! This is theft and fraud. I did the upgrade at Glenfair.</p> <p>Also I waited more than an hour for service. What the hell.</p>
I got a very high phone bill, because of some setting of facebook that made all videos in the newsfeed to play even if you scroll past it. So I changed the setting, and I took it on the chin, even though I wasn't warned that I went our of bundle. I found out the amount was just under R3200. My account runs from the 15th of the month to the 15th of the month. On the 9th of December I paid over the full amount ahead of time. I have just spoken to an MTN consultant and he informed me that the whole amount will be deducted from my account regardless. I asked him to call his floor manager and he simply cut me off. He did introduce himself, but he said his long name so quickly I didn't get it. I'm sure it can be traced. My MTN number is 0732496311. I am used to bad service from MTN, like you get from any kind of service provider in our country these days, I just think it's time they started listening to me and responding. I think I might take my business eslewhere anyway.
We bought an installation voucher for an OVHD dish at Game Menlyn on 10 November, which warranted a complaint on its own already. They said the people would call us the same day. A week later my mother called me to ask about the installation. When I called the number written on the voucher, they had no record of us, which simply means that Game Menlyn never bothered to enter our details on the system. Just didn't bother. Don't care. I dictated our information over the phone. The lady said someone would call us to make an appointment. No one called. Just now they pitched up at my mother's house. She wasn't there, I live 12km away, and the man was surprised that I asked him why he didn't call first. So my mother dropped everyhing and came home immediately, only to find them packing up again because they did not bring enough cable for the installation. SERIOUSLY!
Basically every interface Standard Bank has fails me on a regular basis. Today particularly again the ATM cash deposit service. This is the second time in a week that their machine swallowed my cash and printed out a paper saying I have to go to the branch. If Standard Bank advertises a certain service they need to make sure their machines work. Now I have to wait for a technician to come out and open the machine to give me my cash. At Nedbank and FNB an ATM deposit works and it happens within 30 seconds. Why is everything Standard Bank offers a struggle?
Well nothing happened for quite some time. They simply don't approach a customer. They don't even attempt to offer any service whatsoever.
Their workmanship is very very good. I recommend them to anyone who needs a high end watch serviced or repaired. I live in Pretoria and sent my watch to them, because they were highly recommended. Don't hesitate, you will find their knowledge and skill is second to none.
They basically just keep us standing in line forever at the check out. The workers are deliberately slow and the result of it is that I now avoid that branch. Nothing is quick. It can't take 25 minutes to buy my wife flowers. I just won't go there anymore.
